im sorry bro but at BEST you are above average (im a recording engineer so when i say i have heard HUNDREDS of better rappers then you i mean it), you ARE an internet rapper. the best thing you got going for you is lyrics(and its just the lyrics because your flow is nothing special) and in todays hip hop scene and music industry to be talented @ writing raps is not enough to ever go any farther then MYSPACE unless you got the hustle and mouthpiece to MAKE other shit happen.
im sure there are better rappers than me just like im sure there are better engineers then u. you can run around callin yourself above average but not me. i put too much time and effort into my craft to be anywhere near average. These are the type of people that will settle for a regular 9 to 5 the rest of their lives. Got no ambition because they are insecure. See: that's what separates you from them. They may think your making an ass of yourself, but that's their own insecurity cause they're afraid to try something and fail. I'm in no way saying that you are a failure. What I'm sayin' is, real men ride shit out and if they fall, they get up and ride again til we get it right. Failures are failures from the gate because they never tried to go for nothing, they sat around and talked shit and just settled for whatever had to be done when it came time to cross that bridge.
The only way they could come close to living and doing what you do is by taking what you got and reworking your material. That's a clear sign that they've given up on themselves. They can't get any attention on their own, so they seek and try and destroy a touchable up and comer. Kinda like Benzino tried to do with Em, ya feel? Dr. Dre said it best, (paraphrasing) "I don't even listen to that. It's just people who want to make a name for themselves using our name. That just let's me know I'm still on top."
Most of these people (if they are not already) will be dead beat dads, or muthaphuckaz complaining every pay day about their checks getting garnished for child support.
Years from now they'll be sitting around thinking "What if's" while people like you will be satisfied with your life because your lived it and gave it your all.
