flip still got, yall just aint listenin correctly. yall heard his verse on chams "wont let you down" h-town all stars remix??? he had if not THE BEST VERSE on that remix. the flows/wordplay made me say DAMN FLIP STILL GOT IT!!! of course he may drop a weak verse here and there but did any of yall hear his freestyle earlier this year over the "she got it" beat?? he killed it!!!! "u gotta feel me" was one of the best southern cds that dropped last year. beats n lyrics were on point with a few fillers. just wait for his official new solo "AHEAD OF MY TIME", even doubters will be shocked....

flip fell off to me after he dropped U Gotta Feel Me. i was feelin that album, and leprachun was dope as hell. undaground legend was tight. but then his album after that with the label drama was straight up trash. hes cool to listen to on a feature, but he got lazy with rapping like CamRon.

I felt like he was the new shit in the south thats gone stick around for awhile. But to me, this is what i saw. He came in strong but still young and raw. But when you blow up and come up as fast as he did. and then all of a sudden. your hittin' top notch studios and your surrounded by professionals. your coppin beeter beats, that knowledge and power should enhance your style so you can pump out better tracks. He just kinda never advanced. in that field and stayed at the same level as when he entered.

Point blank..... your supposed to get better over time. not get weaker asnd worst.
Some good points...

Wow your late, I forgot you across seas so yall get stuff a lil late. But yeah Slim Thug was signed to Star Trek(Pharell's label) his "already platinum" album dropped on the label. Pharel did all his beats and look at the logo and credits in the cd artwork.

Slim got dropped from the label last year though. Snoop Dogg was signed to start trek at one point also.
its star trak

and the beats were hard.

^ the beats didn't suit slim thug though.

Flip still has talent hes just got sloppy and lazy, relying too much on his flow and putting no thought into his lyrics, the album with Young Noble wasn't half bad, but he's just repeating the same old shit now, that king of the south shit with Ro was the last tight shit he did and it wasnt that long ago, that i need mine double was pretty good. I agree he needs to stop fucking with that capone e joker

That "around the world in 1 day" mixtape is slappen so is that group album with Young Noble and that I Need Mine is slappen like fuck to. Those are 3 good releases in these past 2 years, yall need to stop sleepen. I realize fucken with Capone E and the rest of the garbage crew dont make Flip look good but there probably cashen him out and right now hes getting it any way he can probably

I WOULDNT DOUBT HE'S GETTIN BREADED, BUT THATS IT, HE FELL OFF. WHEN HIM & TIP WAS GOIN AT IT, I FELT HE HELD HIS OWN, BUT THAT WAS THE END OF HIM. HE CAME OUT GASIN, WAY WE BALL WAS HITTIN, GAME OVER WAS STRAIGHT, AND THE KINGS OF THE SOUTH WAS THE LAST BEST THING HE HAD IMO. ITS LIKE HE DIDNT TRY ON I NEED MINE.

@ GAS..... WHEN SLIM SIGNED THE DEAL & RELEASED THE ALBUM, HE SAID HIMSELF THAT HE NEVER HAD HIS OWN SOUND, IT WAS HIS & INTERSCOPES IDEA TO DO THAT. ALREADY PLATINUM WAS THE BEST ALBUM TO COME OUT OF HOUSTON THAT YEAR IMO, BUT I FEEL YOU.
