u guys jabber to much bout bull shit ..goapele did her thing bout 2 3 years ago she was on mtv she was on bet she was up for a couple of awards i forget which show ,u guys want everybody and they momma from the bay to "blow up" why dont u guys try a positive topic like "damn keyshia cole "blew up" she got her own show on bet ,bet fucks wit her heavey she get mtv play to
Goapele is definitely talented and beautiful. She was brought to my attention by JDef way before her first album. He produced 2 joints on her first album. For years, I tried to hook her up with E-40 and after Closer, it finally happened. I'm glad her and 40 got down. That was a blessing. But, I don't know what happened to her buzz. I personally don't think that her last single was a good single. I think she just needs to connect with the right producer at the right time. She's got great vocals and her stage presence is awesome. She's got what it takes to be huge, definitely. She just needs to find a hit to get back on top. I wish her, Namane, Theo and her new baby all the best of luck. The last time I seen her and Namane was in front of PacBell Park for a show she did with my bruh, DizzeeRascal and MosDef, TalibKweli. Shit, even Sean Penn and Leonardo DiCaprio were there....that's the last I've heard or seen her...I'd love to produce something for her upcoming material....or at least try to network with someone who can give her the hit she needs...after all, I AM THE NETWORKING GURU and she deserves it.. Mystic got preg had the baby then never returned to the game she focusing on her fam. She was cool i got her album too and i downloaded that single she released for her second album that never dropped. I think my best song by her after 'The Life' was 'Gottas' that shit is so sad but so true.
Hopfully Goapele returns to the music game, i dont think she got a choice as im sure i read somewhere she had a 3 album deal with sony.

I was there. That was the first time I've seen her live. That was a dope gatherin' (Al GOre put it on. It was an awareness rally/campaign 4 some youth internet site. I met GOapele's band that nite and gave them a copy of Jacka's mixtape. I 4get the name of it but it's the mixtape that dropped right b4 "The Jack Artist". I was promotin' 4 Jacka at the time and I was tryin' 2 network with GOapele 'cause I felt they'd be dope 2gether, not 2 mention on that mixtape Jacka rapped 2 the "Closer" beat which is created by AmpLive. I was affiliated with GOlden Mean at the time, so I had support from them. As far as I know nothin' ever came of it. I couldn't get to GOapele directly that nite 'cause she was surrounded with fans and media. I met Bradley Whitford that nite as well. He played Adam Sandler's nemesis in Billy Madison.). My lady and I went 2 her show last Sun. (3/2/08) at Yoshi's in Oakland. It was a really dope performance. I met Too Short that nite 2. He was chillin' with his crew enjoyin' her show just like everyone else. He's a real coo/humble dude. GOapele is really dope all @. I 4GOt "First Love" was one of her lastest singles until she sang it on Sun. and I'm pretty sure that "Make Your Move" video is on the Full Circle DVD.
REAL TALK!!! Her 1st album is better than her 2nd and she had a major label backing with her 2nd one. She lacks production big time. I know her style is very unique but I don't give a f*ck how different you are, w/o good production it's only average at best. Everyone across the country that's heard her loves "CLOSER" but those who bought her major label debut complained that it wasn't all that. Step it up GOAPELE!!! YEE!!!
