Pretty sure he's an atheist/agnostic. He's probably just trying to use biblical scripture to prove a logical fallacy. Keep up.
Way to state the obvious pal. I know his position but I find it funny someone would use something he knows is not true to refute another point. But I guess since the latter is also based on the same source it doesn't matter.

Somehow, I don't feel it was really that obvious to you. But sure, let's give you the benefit of the doubt.
I know his position but I find it funny someone would use something he knows is not true to refute another point.
You do understand what a logical fallacy is and why he would used something he doesn't believe is true to refute a point right? Because if you're really the big boy in your advanced "early bird" reading classes then you should have no trouble comprehending his logic. You seem to find what he did funny. Obviously you didn't understand what he was going for.
But I guess since the latter is also based on the same source it doesn't matter.
So...why respond?

So you believe in the great flood of Noah?
I don't believe in Noah, or a flood commissioned by God to purify the earth - Just pointing out the obvious error in Mercediez post.

I wouldn't however discount the flood itself. I know that in North America during the postglacial period massive ice sheets melted forming immense lakes that dissapeared, geologically speaking, in the twinkle of an eye. This consists with the "earth diver" story of first nations people. Water as far as the eye can see. For this to happen in Europe wouldn't suprise me. People would surely tell "stories" or "myths" to explain this phenomenen.

So a massive flood I can believe in, though it didn't cover all of earth.

Noah making a boat with 2 of each animal, not so much.
