I can understand that reasoning, but who's to say Detroit's going to be any better next year? You stay to be ''safe'', then there's the possibility that your stock drops, due to injury, a down year, someone else at the same position having a stand out year...and then you lose out on millions of dollars.

Detroit Lions...and 30 million...or Cleveland...and 2 million.

< Would take that extra 28 million...

If the TIMING is right, go for it. Anyone staying in school so they don't get drafted by a certain team is retarded.

KC, Cincinatti, and St. Louis would all have to lose their last 2 games for that to happen...

I hope Detroit does pick first, and take Michael Crabtree.

I don't have anything against the Lions, I just think that would be great. :)
