The AFC West is becoming easier to win, as many of the teams are just plain lost. The Chiefs were AWFUL last year, San Diego had some injuries and didn't come on til late, The Broncos failed and are going through some SHIT right now, and the Raiders are just..well...the Raiders.

I truly believe that in order for the Raiders to have ANY success...Al Davis HAS to go. He is out of his effin mind and is HURTING his own CAUSE.
I have been saying the same about Al for a while... but honestly... look at this offseason so far... he's running shit like an owner is supposed to

resiging key players... restructuring contracts... signing players he can get for cheaper...

he isn't looking like crazy old Al like last season

Drafting JR, Robert Gallery.

Tell me this

Who was the last pro bowler (besides Nnamdi) the Raiders drafted and developed into a pro bowler?

He is talking about this offseason...not years prior.

In all honesty, the JR move was stupid...but Robert Gallery should have been better. There are more OL'n in the league that do well than QB's...thats not hard to see.

^Teams gameplan for Vernon Davis? Yeah right, you act like he's Antonio Gates. Teams don't gameplan for Davis. He maybe a threat to stretch the field and that's just because of his speed. Here are their statistics for 2008 and you tell me who's "stretching" the field.

Vernon Davis= 31 receptions, 358 yards, 11.5 average, 2 TD's
Zach Miller= 56 receptions, 778 yards, 13.9 average, 1 TD

Well if you can't say the same for Miller, then why did he "double" the yardage that Vernon put up in Martz's offense? And why does Miller average more yards per catch?
