Black Market Records pretty much ruled the Sacramento rap scene in the 90's. They were Northern Cali's underground version of Death Row records and dropped a number of classic albums from artists such as Brotha Lynch, X-Raided, and Mr. Doctor. I'm sure you've heard of them. Tre-8 was in Mr. Doctor's group called the Odysea (sp?).

Lynch had an album called Season of Da Siccness. This site was originally created as a forum on the Black Market Records website. It was orginally the 91Siccness. (916, Sac's area code).
