This desire for adoration, women, money, etc., was *NOT* created by the white man. Man does not create lust, he acts on it.
You aint lookin at this shit from an objective position. You have to understand that the white man will exploit and promote the "thug nigga" image throughout the media only if it benefits him, and the black man will adopt and project a "thug nigga" image only if it benefits him.
A black man might actually hate to project an image of being a thug, but if by doing so he can make money and live nice, then it is seen he will immediately portray any image asked of him. So it is not that the white man crafted this "nigga mentality" in complete opposition to the desires of blacks; if any "mentality" has been created it has been due to the cooperation of both parties. If black men refused to shuck and jive and sell out by glorifying a "thug" image, then there would be no "nigga mentality" being sold to the masses. That mentality would be rejected. But it is not rejected, it is embraced. Why? Because the white man wants us to!
And similarly, if the "thug" image is not what the public is craving, then the white man will have no incentive to put money behind it.
Write it down, copy it, take a picture, whatever it takes. Please read what this man just wrote, and understand it. If it doesn't sink in the first time, read it again, and again, and again until it does.

Tenkamenin: I have a question that I want you guys to think about, think about for more then just a few seconds, and then maybe give an honest answer. No week long word for word arguments, no insults, just pure insight and knowledge.
Tenkamenin: You have repeatedly linked the actions of the present day "nigga", with his "nigga-mentality" to the history of hate and violence their ancestors endured throughout many years of oppression and prejudice. While I will acknowledge that as time goes along, when you look at the generations past by within an African American family, you will ultimately find that slavery played SOME part in where they are at this PRESENT time. My argument is how big of an impact are we talking about? Now my question is this (were going to use my school as an example). Every day when I get out of class, I walk (at least a half mile) to my car through the school-yard. Near the center of my school, off to the side of one of our classrooms, you will find anywhere from 5-20 African Americans standing together dressed head to toe in expensive clothes, shouting "nigga" towards one another all gawking at my girlfriend in disrespect as we pass by. Now im assuming these are the same type of African Americans that possess this "nigga-mentality" that you speak of. So tell me, how much do YOU think that this group of people know about their past? Before either of you get off on a rant, please understand where im coming from. Your entire argument is that the past life of Africans in this country play a major role in their actions and way of life today. I know it is wrong to ask a question like this, but I feel that it is COMPLETELY necessary to discuss this in order to come to some type of mutual conclusion. My reason being, how can a "black" man act with this "nigga-mentality", when he knows nothing of his past? If you feel uncomfortable answering this question with the scenario I gave you, then look at it like this. I know (or ive been told) that the both of you are to some extent involved with your community. Now, of those African Americans that you have talked to, how many of them knew what black wall street was?
I will say this, hundreds of years of slavery is enough to piss anyone off, but the simple fact of knowing it existed, does not justify ANYTHING negative towards anyone resembling those who oppressed your ancestors. I think it is wrong for one to speak out against any white man without TRUE knowledge of what their ancestors went through over years of slavery. I think it would still be wrong to do so with that knowledge, but its far worse to USE it for your own benefit simply without.
Somewhere, there is a young African American hating a "white" man, not knowing that that white mans ancestors had absolutely NOTHING AT ALL to do with slavery in this country. That is a HUGE problem that I will discuss at a later time; the generalization of the white race.

So the moral of the story is that even if we are suffocating under a depraved and ignorant mentality (be it racism or crack addiction), at the end of the day we are free to make our own choices, thus destroying any idea that we can have some "mentality" forcibly implanted into us. To entertain that bullshit is just to be one hell of an ignorant and illogical conspiracy theorist. Just like the story of the crack family, you can be sure there are racist redneck families whose children are both embracing and rejecting the racist ideologies of their parents.
Also a good peice. Much like my words in the last thread like this, where I explained it is up to every individual themselves to take initiative and make something for their own lives. These "niggas" were talking about here,
