Weak shit, as expected.

Funny how you keep calling me "stupid" and you say that I need hooked on phonics and whatnot, but your simp ass can't even construct a viable english sentence with correct grammar and punctuation!

Nice run on sentence pointdexter, complete with misspellings and incorrect syntax. Do you speak in this same garbled, incoherent, neanderthal-like dialect? Do you pepper your conversations with grunts and moans of "Ugh" as you search your pea sized brain for the right words to use?

Look here you illiterate fuck. When you are trying to say something such as "You are too stupid to recognize them", the word "your" is not the way to contract the words "You are". The correct word is "You're". This is because you are shortening the two separate words (You are) into one word (You're), and the apostrophe indicates the omission of a letter or letters.

When you use the word "your" (which indicates posession) in a place where you mean to say "You are", it is not even worth mentioning because a person can still understand what you are trying to say. I usually would never even mention such a petty thing. But when little pinhead bitches like you want to pull out the old "You need hooked on phonics" line, and it is seen that *you yourself* cannot even spell properly, contract words properly, use correct punctuation, etc., it is laughable.

Learn to read and write above a 2nd grade level, formulate some reasonable and logical arguments, and THEN come at me with this little condescension trip you are on. You're like a crack addict trying to tell a weed smoker to stop doing drugs.

YOU'RE a fuckin pansy ass little bitch, and I have put my literal foot firmly in YOUR ass. See the difference yet?
We went from breaking down the topic and insulting each other to correcting each others grammar. The name calling and bickering is fine, but after after some time it gets boring. If we only thrive on insults this post will gradually go down the drain like it is right now.

We turned a good topic into something weak, definitely not what I wanted.

When you use the word "your" (which indicates posession) in a place where you mean to say "You are", it is not even worth mentioning because a person can still understand what you are trying to say.
“Black folks are no different from what they have suffered throughout history. You’ve been stolen or sold to another country, told that you’re nothing, and forcefully stripped of your culture.”

As you can see I have correctly used the term “you’re” in one of my postings, so your grammar lessons was not needed. How quickly that makes your lesson a waste of time.

Your grammar and spelling was not great either either

"(which indicates posession)"

possession not posession

We have a few alternatives we can continue to break down each other’s post and correct the others grammar, or we can resume the argument and go about it respectively.

But at the same time there comes a point where you must face reality, and the reality is that there can be no "nigga mentality" perpetuated unless there is the *willing participation* of millions of "niggas" who want to reap the benefits of being adored for being a "thug".

This desire for adoration, women, money, etc., was *NOT* created by the white man. Man does not create lust, he acts on it.

You aint lookin at this shit from an objective position. You have to understand that the white man will exploit and promote the "thug nigga" image throughout the media only if it benefits him, and the black man will adopt and project a "thug nigga" image only if it benefits him.

A black man might actually hate to project an image of being a thug, but if by doing so he can make money and live nice, then it is seen he will immediately portray any image asked of him. So it is not that the white man crafted this "nigga mentality" in complete opposition to the desires of blacks; if any "mentality" has been created it has been due to the cooperation of both parties. If black men refused to shuck and jive and sell out by glorifying a "thug" image, then there would be no "nigga mentality" being sold to the masses. That mentality would be rejected. But it is not rejected, it is embraced. Why? Because the white man wants us to!

And similarly, if the "thug" image is not what the public is craving, then the white man will have no incentive to put money behind it.
Write it down, copy it, take a picture, whatever it takes. Please read what this man just wrote, and understand it. If it doesn't sink in the first time, read it again, and again, and again until it does.

HERSEY, Tenkamenin: I have a question that I want you guys to think about, think about for more then just a few seconds, and then maybe give an honest answer. No week long word for word arguments, no insults, just pure insight and knowledge.

Tenkamenin: You have repeatedly linked the actions of the present day "nigga", with his "nigga-mentality" to the history of hate and violence their ancestors endured throughout many years of oppression and prejudice. While I will acknowledge that as time goes along, when you look at the generations past by within an African American family, you will ultimately find that slavery played SOME part in where they are at this PRESENT time. My argument is how big of an impact are we talking about? Now my question is this (were going to use my school as an example). Every day when I get out of class, I walk (at least a half mile) to my car through the school-yard. Near the center of my school, off to the side of one of our classrooms, you will find anywhere from 5-20 African Americans standing together dressed head to toe in expensive clothes, shouting "nigga" towards one another all gawking at my girlfriend in disrespect as we pass by. Now im assuming these are the same type of African Americans that possess this "nigga-mentality" that you speak of. So tell me, how much do YOU think that this group of people know about their past? Before either of you get off on a rant, please understand where im coming from. Your entire argument is that the past life of Africans in this country play a major role in their actions and way of life today. I know it is wrong to ask a question like this, but I feel that it is COMPLETELY necessary to discuss this in order to come to some type of mutual conclusion. My reason being, how can a "black" man act with this "nigga-mentality", when he knows nothing of his past? If you feel uncomfortable answering this question with the scenario I gave you, then look at it like this. I know (or ive been told) that the both of you are to some extent involved with your community. Now, of those African Americans that you have talked to, how many of them knew what black wall street was?

I will say this, hundreds of years of slavery is enough to piss anyone off, but the simple fact of knowing it existed, does not justify ANYTHING negative towards anyone resembling those who oppressed your ancestors. I think it is wrong for one to speak out against any white man without TRUE knowledge of what their ancestors went through over years of slavery. I think it would still be wrong to do so with that knowledge, but its far worse to USE it for your own benefit simply without.

Somewhere, there is a young African American hating a "white" man, not knowing that that white mans ancestors had absolutely NOTHING AT ALL to do with slavery in this country. That is a HUGE problem that I will discuss at a later time; the generalization of the white race.

There was this crackhead mother and father who had two sons. As the sons reached their teenage years, they noticeably engaged in activities of completely opposite natures. The first son started smoking cigarettes, weed, and eventually crack. He became even more cracked out than his parents. The other son enrolled in college, played sports, took up music, and lived a sober life free from the trappings of drug addiction.

A person later asked the two sons why they each ended up in their respective positions. The cracked out son said "Look at my parents. I could not have ended up as anything else." And the second son responded to the same question in the same way. He said "Given who my parents were, I had no choice but to stay away from crack and drugs."

So the moral of the story is that even if we are suffocating under a depraved and ignorant mentality (be it racism or crack addiction), at the end of the day we are free to make our own choices, thus destroying any idea that we can have some "mentality" forcibly implanted into us. To entertain that bullshit is just to be one hell of an ignorant and illogical conspiracy theorist. Just like the story of the crack family, you can be sure there are racist redneck families whose children are both embracing and rejecting the racist ideologies of their parents.
Also a good peice. Much like my words in the last thread like this, where I explained it is up to every individual themselves to take initiative and make something for their own lives. These "niggas" were talking about here, THEY HAVE A CHOICE.

Whether you know your past isn't relevant, the nigga mentality is subconsciously engrained into a lot of black peoples mind. It is common for a black person to make nigga-fied comment like my friend did to me yesterday and not know about her past at the sametime. Like I said it's subconscious.

Lastly I want to add that their could be other factors to why some black people use the word "nigga". Some black kids that I talk to say it out of pure ignorance, they just don't know what their saying. They think theirs a difference between the word Nigga and Nigger, which is incorrect.

I remember when I was a kid their was a football game I use to call "Smear the queer".

Somewhere, there is a young African American hating a "white" man, not knowing that that white mans ancestors had absolutely NOTHING AT ALL to do with slavery in this country. That is a HUGE problem that I will discuss at a later time; the generalization of the white race.
Samething could be said about a white kid that hates black people because of their history in America. You have white kids out there that are told by someone that blacks are lazy, worthless "monkey's" in America. No difference, you can't stress yourself over that.

NITRO....seriously man no one is ranting but YOU need to start coming at people STRAIGHT instead of coming SIDEWAYS. Take a look at your statement before you reply to what I just typed...
My reason being, how can a "black" man act with this "nigga-mentality", when he knows nothing of his past?
is this the question you wanted to ask? confirm and i will answer.

1. YOU (NITRO) AND VYASADEVA SHOULD EDUCATE YOURSELVES WHEN IT COMES TO *URBAN MARKETING* AND ECONOMICS (ESPECIALLY BLACK ECONOMICS.)

2.VYASADEVA IT SEEMS AS IF YOU'RE TURNING THE OPPRESSED INTO THE OPPRESSOR.

3.YOU (NITRO) AND VYASADEVA SHOULD READ THE FOLLOWING BOOKS WHITE BOY~MARK D .NAISON AND HOW TO MAKE BLACK AMERICA BETTER: LEADING AFRICAN AMERICANS SPEAK OUT~TAVIS SMILEY. THESE BOOKS MAY GIVE YOU A MORE IN DEPTH LOOK AT THE AFRICAN AMERICAN COMMUNITY AND THE PROBLEMS WITHIN.

INFO IN REGARDS TO BOOK ONE CAN BE FOUND HERE:

INFO IN REGARDS TO BOOK TWO CAN BE FOUND HERE:
http://btobsearch.barnesandnoble.com/booksearch/isbnInquiry.asp?btob=Y&isbn=0385502141&pwb=1

4.NOT ONE PERSON (MYSELF AND TENK) HAS STATED THAT AFRICAN AMERICANS DON'T HAVE A CHOICE. WHAT WE HAVE STATED IS THAT **SOME** MAY NOT BE ABLE TO MAKE THE RIGHT/CORRECT CHOICES DUE TO CERTAIN CONDITIONS.

5. I ENCOURAGE BOTH OF YOU (NITRO AND VYASADEVA) TO BECOME FAMILIAR WITH JIM CROW, NIGGER AND THE "BRUTE NEGRO".

START HERE:
http://www.ferris.edu/news/jimcrow/menu.htm

(WHEN YOU HIT THE SITE CLICK ON "THE BRUTE CARICATURE AND "THE NIGGER CARICATURE)

WHEN YOU GAIN INSIGHT (IN REGARDS TO THE BRUTE NEGRO AND NIGGER) YOU WILL SEE THAT THE "THUG" IMAGE IS NOT SOMETHING THAT WAS CREATED OVERNIGHT

HERES AN EXCERPT FROM THAT SITE:

Rap musicians, themselves poets, rap about niggers before mostly white audiences, some of whom see themselves as wiggers (white niggers) and refer to one another as "my niggah." Snoop Doggy Dogg, in his single, "You Thought," raps, "Wanna grab a skinny nigga like Snoop Dogg/Cause you like it tall/and work it baby doll." Tupac Shakur, one of the most talented and popular rap musicians, had a song called "Crooked Ass Nigga." The song's lyrics included, "Now I could be a crooked nigga too/When I'm rollin' with my crew/Watch what crooked niggers do/I got a nine millimeter Glock pistol/I'm ready to get with you at the tip of a whistle/So make your move and act like you wanna flip/I fired thirteen shots and popped another clip." Rap lyrics which debase women and glamorize violence reinforce the historical Brute Caricature.

PEEP THE LAST SENTENCE.

6.NEITHER OF YOU UNDERSTAND HOW THE CONCEPT OF RACIAL INFERIORITY/SUPERIORITY IS KEPT ALIVE (IN AMERICA) BY THE EXPLOITATION OF BLACK LABOR AND CULTURE. I FORM THIS ASSESSMENT BASED ON PAST AND PRESENT POSTS.

In closing I would like to say that this post was made for elightment and to possibly educate those who are MISINFORMED. It's not meant to offend...BUT...I would appreciate it if INSULTS and ASSUMPTIONS (THE RANT COMMENT) are kept to a minimum.

Thankyou

Looking at my past run-in's with you on this board, I see that you ranted many times. What I meant by rant in this case, was responding to me either (1.) questioning my question or (2.) criticizing me for asking the question, as opposed to just giving your honest beliefs. You did a little bit of both in your reply, but I won't hold it against you. Instead ill make myself more clear in this one so that maybe I can get a legit answer from you.

I have already bought and started reading the the book by Travis Smiley, ill look into the other one, and if it interests me then I might pick it up.

I will agree to that as well. Many African Americans do not have a choice because of their environment and location. They are not alone.

Sure.

I was trying to enlighten EDJ of this in another thread.

YOU want to inform US on something YOU believe to be true. Just because YOU believe it is true, does not make it fact. It is possible that everything Tenk posted in this thread is false. I posess the right to disagree or agree with whatever I read, see, or hear. I read some things in this post that I DID NOT agree with, so I spoke my mind. Im sure you can understand that.

And finally...
