I thought Floyd was gonna already announce who he was going to fight? First he asks Canelo for his undercard, now Broner. But people think I'm crazy about the undercard being a factor on PPV buys.

You realize Sugar Ray Leonard was 5'11 right? He would tower over all of the current Welterweights who are all 5'8 or below. Margarito 5'11. Kermit Cintron 5'11. Trinidad 5'11. Wilfred Benitez 5'10. Oscar de la hoya 5'10 1/2. Sugar Ray Robinson 5'11.

Maidana, Bradley, Rios, Pac, JMM, Paulie can all easily make 140. These guys are all 5'6-5'7 with exception to Rios who is 5'8. Historically these are very undersized welterweights. It's the smallest welterweight class I can ever think of.

Leonard had Paul Williams frame but was 2 inches shorter with like a 293" shorter wingspan lol Margarito always looked way bigger than Leonard every did at 147. Cintron was a pretty big Welterweight. Trinidad looked a lot like Leonard at 147. DLH was a pretty big Welterweight too.

Guys like Bradley are pretty big when they're not in training camp. Maidana allegedly had trouble getting below 147 the week of the Broner fight. The rest of the guys you named are small.

Bradley gets fat because he's not on a diet and not at the gym. Ricky Hatton got up to 200 pounds that didn't mean he wasn't a junior welter. Means some guys let their bodies go between fights.

He's tall and lanky obviously but if Leonard was Williams height, he would look more like Williams than Hearns does. Paul wasn't usually very ripped up. Hearns was pretty cut. Either way, Hearns and Williams were both huge Welterweights. Leonard would've looked pretty small next to Margarito even though they are close to the same height.

I disagree man the welterweight division got so bad that it's full of junior welterweights. Like I said the other day the only true welterweights right now really are Keith Thurman and like Soto-Karrass. And Berto. Everyone else are small junior welters Bradley, Alexander, Marquez, Rios, Paulie, Pac, Maidana, shit even Floyd could fight at 140 if he wanted to. Yes Hearns and Williams were very big welterweights but the point is welterweights are historically typically bigger than the current crop of former junior welterweights. Right now these guys are really small 5'6-5'7 guys that only moved up in weight to chase the big names. Pacquiao, JMM definitely wouldn't be welterweights in other era's, same for most other guys like Maidana, Bradley etc. Sure they can beef up a lil bit and hold their own against current guys cus their all small!

Williams had a great chin. No question. That's why it was so shocking that he was ko'd like that. Sergio is also a pretty damn good puncher and that was just a perfect shot like you said.

Williams was way better than Alexander on his best day though and Maidana looked like an amateur in there.

But I will say that Khan has pretty good power and he knocked Maidana down with a perfect body shot. You can't help that no matter how good your abs are. Ortiz put every person on the canvas he fought until he fought Floyd in his career. He's a joto, but he's a really good puncher too so you can't fault Maidana too much for that.

Regarding Canelo, I left him out for a reason because I remember foolish shit being said. I was defending Floyd in fact saying a). Floyd doesn't need to fight him and b). If Floyd does fight him he will beat him. Same went for Sergio Martinez I always said fuck Martinez Floyd is a welterweight (or blown up WW when he fights at JMW).

You say I hate Floyd or whatever but I've spent my share of time praising him. I've never picked a fighter to beat him.
