^^^DAVE your question was legitimate, but sort of broad and open..like I believe Lil Magnifico was insinuating. These questions are answered with whoever they can think of...and there is no right or wrong answer....
I think the question should've been if you had to invest $100,000 in someone who would be the artist you would choose and why...with some peoples response they would end up losing big.
I would rather the question read who do you think aint gonna make it in the rap game...96% of those listed would fit that category and the other 4% have a slim chance. Then again making it or becoming successful in rap would have to be defined because there are different views on success.

Rocc got spits but Mitch comes tighter to me. Dude has a good ear for production & he can talk about the same shit over & over but will break it down totally different everytime he spit it. He's also shown major improvement everytime he drops something & that's saying a lot.

But @ the end of the day Jayo got the tightest bars outta everybody from Dago. But out of Rocc & Mitch I would have 2 say Mitch.

I don't want this to turn into "who's better..rocc or mitch?" becuz we have 2 totally different lanes and I'll even go as far to say we make music for 2 different audiences...at the end of the day we both have the same agenda and that's to work hard and get on and for the record I'm not in competition wit Mitch or anybody else in San diego...what's the prize at the end of that race?

Jus find ur lane and make sure ur the best in it...work hard and make good music for the Fans to support

but why would people wanna hear the same thing all the time even if its broken down different all the time ?? its still the same thing. i think niggas needa switch it up sometimes and get creative with it. plus mitch's beats aint really all that. he needs like 5 or 6 dave moss beats maybe.
Ive witnessed first hand the evolution of rap music and its change in sounds ( bout ta turn 38)..I think we coming to the point where being original is difficult and rare and almost every topic has been discussed in verses at one point or another. I think part of the problem..which dave disagrees is feeling the need for change. I like new and different but when artists/ producers turn to audiences and tell them they need to change..how funny is that..Instead of trying to convert meat eaters into vegetarians..sell them the meat. Why should an artist have to rap any particular way...thats what being lost is artistic expression from the artist who feels pressure to do something that aint them....Mitch needs some Alchemist...some battlecat..if they did his whole album..Id be heavily anticipatin that one...But there are lots of dope producers outside dago..thats part of a problem as well..dago artists running in the same circle going no where. If you aint networking outside your area..thats as far as you gonna go..dago artists need to face it that the local support aint their in the numbers needed.

I think u have dave moss wrong...I don't think he's tryin to turn Meat eaters into vegetarians...I think he's tryin to say..."ok ..we've been selling ground beef to people who like meat...its time to try to sell steak to people who like better meat"....at the end of the day I think a lot of people forget that Southeast San Diego and Siccness.net are the Minority compared to the Real world...if U only Make music to sell a about 400 c.d's between Fam mart and the siccshop then there really is no need to go outside of the box...but if u rap to Make Money then u shouldn't let ur music be influenced by what the siccness and fam mart shoppers care about..u should care about what the 4 million people that downloaded Flo-roda's ringtone or the 80,000 people that baught Bun B's record the 1st week it came out want to hear..Not sayin Make music like those artist but to be more tapped in on what's going on in the Real world..we do make music to make money right? So why not try to sell those meat eaters meat?

Makes alot of sense..if its so cut and dry then why would he waste effort in telling or complaining to the 400 who are stuck in a time warp..now dont get me wrong Im not saying Im even right..but I think we are at a time that the direction artists should go is not as clear cut, because an artist may have to take in consideration their abilities to market to the large audience with out major support..so when you said ...

Jus find ur lane and make sure ur the best in it...work hard and make good music for the Fans to support..

this is probably the best advice...

Yeah u right 50 Cal. I was looking @ it the other way. But I just look @ it as who's actually from Dago is all.

If someone in another forum makes a thread talking about the best artist "in" Florida I guess Weezy & Fat Joe can get a vote then too since they live their now. Just my 2 cents. I'm not trying to be diffacult so I'll just leave it alone. My vote still goes to Mitch or Jayo.

^^^nigga u cant spell for nothin... if ur gonna type ur "2cents" atleast spell correctly. its "difficult" not diffacult. and i can see u have a "difficult" time spelling cuz this aint the 1st time u mispelled some sh*t and it aint no typo either. u just cant spell.
Yeah u right bitch. I mispelled a few words. But as long as u know what I said it shouldn't matter to you how I spelled it.

Best Artist From Dago thread & ur name aint mentioned once. Not even a female honorable mention. But ur famous in real life? GTFOH.
