Who Has Gotten Their Appendix Removed?

my oldest bro had his taken out in his late teens or early 20's mostly from drinking. he was hurting for like a week without a doctor. so he finally went and they took his appendix out and they told him it was ready to burst at any time.
i told him later after i seen a simpsons episode that homer had his taken out and they threw it and it exploded like a grenade and he believed that was possible LOL! thats how bad it hurt he told me lol!!!
