On the Map would be Snoop numbers or game numbers or fucken fat joe numbers or fucken joe budden numbers. Face the cold reality sac is what it is, UNDERGROUND!

^^^first of all, joe blow isnt going to just blow up because dre 'puts out his record'. joe blow would have to have at least some kind of talent or at the least charisma. Every artist mentioned in this thread deserves a part of saying they help put Sacramento "on the map"(whatever that really means). They all have put out at least 1 top notch quality album in my opinion. Small thinkers like you are whats holding Sacramento back. Shit I been seeing C-Dubb doin' his thang for a long time now. He is the most underrated artist in this whole damn city. He definately has helped to put Sac on the map, you going to tell him he hasnt? I dont think so. Numbers dont mean anything in music. Do you know how many GARBAGE rap albums go platinum? Do you know how many dope Sacramento artists albums get slept on? Snap the fuck out of it mayne......

anyways props to C-Dubb and all the artists who contribute to make this scene what it is. thats my rant...peace

C- Dubb is nice... Hustlematic nice.... them two are very versatile. Oh on production... "Vince V" got it fo sho... doubt if you want... but real recognises real. There are a lot of "crabs in the barrell" in Sac... and mainly because them niggas is garbage. No offense... but fuck Dre. And fuck any nigga thinking he needs niggas on his albums to sell. Just associate your self with the right people, don't suck no dick or take it in the ass, and your name and image will sell off of association. The main key for promotin is "outta sight, outta mind". If you can stay in the publics eyesight, whether it be mixtapes, shout outs, hype man'n for ya potna's show or guest appearences on a DVD... stay on the scene. When T.I was in between albums... he was hanging out with Bad Boy doin photo shoots, featuring in videos, and guest appearing on albums. X-Raided been in jail for damn near 10 years now, and he still rings bells due to associations. His name and someone else's money can start a label right now... whether or not they keep the momentum is the question. Sac is on fire, on the map or off the map... we showin up on the radar... and that's enough to make you wanna check us out and see what's goin on.

What up...Name is snakez and Im new to the siccness as far as posting, but been reading the threads for a minute now. I think sac is headed in the right direction. I think one thing sac needs tho is better radio promotion. We need a radio show that focuses mostly on unsigned hype and underground. I know we got the sunday spot on the radio for a couple of hours but we need something more than just a couple hours on a sunday or a radio station that plays only in downtown sac. I could be wrong, but I think we need local mainstream radio to fully back us like the hot 97's do with New York....
