It was pretty lame. Too many interviews with contenders was the biggest draw back. It is like they assume people are going to make some kind of connection with them and then stay with the show through the whole season to cheer on the 1 person they like.
Falling into water instead of the pads is kinda lame too.

Otherwise it is pretty much just as funny and enjoyable to watch as the original. With fewer mullets though.

Stopped watching after the first one was over with.

alright, I WAS high when I watched that show, because I watched the new one last night. That shit was garbage, all the damn interviews started to piss me off. They were highly unnecessary, the show could easily be a half hour.

yeah like having the "new york firefighter" vs the "san diego skater", or "single white mom" vs "the black girl" bullshit. then the interviews would be all "im gonna try my best and give it 100%!!! i hope i win but we're all winners!!! yay america!!!"...super cheesy...but stupid ppl will fall for it

good things about the show:

that girl gladiator crush

the girl who sold toilet paper for a living falling without anyone touching her and twisting her angle

the another one bites the dust dance by the crowd while they do thumbs down

The episode of Family Matters when Carl & Urkel were gladiator contestants > anything else that has ever been associated with American Gladiators, or ever will
