First of all, not everyone can write tight rhymes schemes because if that were the case, why wouldn't everyone be doing it? Why don't you do it? People with real talent can write material with substance AND tight rhyme schemes.

Second, it's not only about WHAT you say, it's more about HOW you say it. And you say it with an accent that nobody is going to feel. Whoever is giving you advice on this shit is fucking you up. Who the hell do you think you're going to appeal to? Rednecks? How many rednecks listen to rap music? People want to listen to somebody who can ride a beat, which you cannot seem to do judging by that awful attempt on that song with Brotha Lynch. I'm not saying I have the best voice or flow because I understand some people are not going to feel you no matter who you are or how you sound, but your voice, flow and accent are absolutely terrible and you have NO CHANCE at making a career out of this art form.

And I have no doubt you'll be retired from rap by the age of 32, but not in the sense you're hoping for. I figure by the time you reach 32 years old, you'll figure out you are not a rapper and you will quit. That's considered retiring. You see, in rap, retiring is not a good thing unless you've felt success, which you do not have the potential for.

People like yourself need to realize that when the majority of people outside of your own little circle don't like your shit, that means YOU are wrong. It's easy to get props from people you know. But when you come out to a place like this and nobody likes your shit, THAT tells you how good or bad you really are. You can't rely on your friends and other rappers you've networked with to give you an honest opinion because you'll never get it.

Another thing, and this is free advice from someone who obviously knows a lot more about the business than whoever you get your advice from: your opinion on your own material is the most worthless opinion in the world. That goes for any rapper. It doesn't matter what YOU think, you aren't the potential audience or consumer. If you were only making music because you like to do it (like me), then others' opinions don't mean so much, but when you're trying to actually make money from rap (like you), then others' opinions mean more than anything in the world.
