Sorry but I don't think he's any more racist than Trent Lott is/was whatever you want to make of it. The biggest problem, is that the media has misquoted Farrakhan and taken his speeches out of context and not give the public his true views.
For a long time now Farrakhan has completly changed his philsophy, I was listening to his savior day speech not too long ago and he said some incredible things about race relations in the United States. He called us all brothers and sisters and not to look at each other as superior to each other. It was a damn good speech. The following year he made another incredible speech. Unless he's a closet racist, than I don't see him as anymore of a racist than your man Trent Lott. Whats worse was that Trent Lott was in power for a long time, so not only did he have his racist views but then he could exercise his racism on blacks or minorities in general.
