point blank there is no one in the industry coming close to fucking with slim in the following areas

versatility = he can rap about just about anything AND keep your attention.

delivery = he is on point like a motherfucker and his various methods just on single tracks alone is dope. he dont have the same flow on every damn song, and not even on every verse.

realness = that motherfucker keeps it real as fuck, AND JUST BECAUSE HE ISNT A GANGSTER DOESNT MEAN HE AINT RAPPIN ABOUT REAL SHIT. more people can relate with his struggles than your typical "GANGSTA". and that's real.

the shit he spits, MANY people of MANY backgrounds can feel. that's why he's so popular. you can say its gimmicky singles or dr. dre all you want but at a certain point in your life you have to examine the penmanship of some of his songs and realize, he's on top right now and it aint no fluke. white or not. he writes real shit in between the comedy.

he doesnt ride on boy bands and bitches on his records

on a few songs he makes references to a few but he doesnt make whole songs regarding them.

but on the whole of his albums though (you have admitted not listening thoroughly) he keeps it real. whether his reality is the same as yours or not, he keeps it real as fuck.

yeah id like to see him speak on a few more folks that are a bit more thorough, but thats not what i listen to his shit for. its the other 99.9999% of shit he spits about AND THE MEANS HE USES TO CONVEY HIS MESSAGES. which is extremely original unlike 99.9999% of the rap community.

i could see if he was rappin about how hard he was and only dissin pop stars but he dont. he repeatedly mocks his own frailty and history of basically being bullied and pushed. not everyone is a thug. and thats reality. its nice to see someone not braggin about how they'll pop a cap in you for lookin at them the wrong way . feel me?

its like nowadays people think you have to be some thugged out motherfucker to rap when shit aint even like that. street cred does not = good music.

sit down and really soak one of his albums, marshall mathers lp and eminem show are his two best lyrically and overall.
