I can see why some of y'all could put the jack, and mac dre.

But you got to mention Too $hort first, then E40, off top. Because they are really the only ones doing anything on a major level, and if someone from the bay do get signed to a major and have a nation wide album, I'm more than sure one of them 2 cats are gonna be behind it. I'm talking bout rappers, not R&b music.

Yukmouth has sold a solid amount of units in Japan. Not including the U.S. plus he still get paid off that "I got 5 on it" single.

Hiero- they are known world wide, people know about them. What surprised me is that there are people who don't know about hiero that are born and raised from the town. But if I tell them about their logo, the smilely face with 3 eyes. They know.

Besides them cats, I would have to say Rappin Ron was one of the greatest rappers from the bay. Dude was a beast. He had punch lines, multi's, sick delivery, swagger. He could freestyle his ass off. Battle rap, do commerical songs, storytell. He was the complete package for a rapper or an MC.

SOLD THE CD'S: Over 16 years in the game with more Gold albums and a couple of Platinum albums! Probably has more albums consistently sold then more then the majority of people on this list. Lets just do some quick math just to get an idea of album's sold. 14 gold album's (500,000) x 14 albums not including his platinum album that's still over 7,000,000 records sold to date! "E-40"

MASTERED THIER CRAFT: With every album he puts out and at least goes Gold! "E-40"

SOLID FAN BASE: From a regional aspect to a nationwide aspect, where people know of him and knows his music... "E-40"

CREATIVE: From back in the early 80's till now has not lost a step and kept the industry filled with new lingo and the most creative man to give us that slang... "E-40"

EARNED THE RIGHT TO BE CALLED THE GREATEST FROM THE BAY: They don't call him "The Ambassadore" for nothing! The greatest to do it, and the greatest still till this day, its self explanitory... "E-40"

As for the quality of work i've always rated Seagram & Y-D for mine, they may not have sold more than artists like E-40, Mac Dre or so but that does'nt change much.

Also 2pac for the usual.

Turf Talk aint even from the Bay. I don't give a fuck how much he reps it. Ur on point with everything else u said.

Anybody hollering Pac needs 2 quit. Pac iz from th East Coast. He's started his career in the Bay & did the same shit as Master P.

My chick was bumping the song Thug Love by Pac & Bone & Pac was hollering "from Cleveland to LA". That nigga was confused.
