I posted a similar thread in the Open Forum but I have a feeling this forum will be a little more receptive. Replace "The Moon" with Iraq and tell me this shit don't strike a chord.

good point, and i'm glad you said 'just replace it w/ iraq'
but, too bad most of the world is convinced of their own opinion, and forever will be.

even if someone doesn't like the government, someone will excuse someones socioeconomic status from their own personal issues and not enough "drive" to live in a harsh capitalistic and materialistic driven society... but its sad because people that don't live in the high classes convince themselves eventually or quickly, that they are indeed 'below' those who do have material goods and such.

the damnation we give ourselves is much more degrading than any other force.

is that a typical whitey response as well?

I agreed with you up until that point...

I can't agree with that statement on a broad level... Yes, some do fall into that trap, but when it comes down to it I do believe that if you maintain proper self-esteem and don't wrap yourself up in celebrity shit there's no valid reason to fall into that trap of thinking less of yourself or your family, just because you're 'lower' on the 'totem-pole'.. I've never been extremely wealthy.. I was raised with 3 sisters by only my mom, livin in section 8 my whole youth.. now I have a stay-at-home wife and two kids and I live off one middle-class job... trust me, I hardly have shit.. but in no way shape or form have I ever considered myself 'below' anybody who has more than me.

i should have said the majority, excuse my post.

your right, i agree completely.

but, i think many people, i'm only saying this from what i have observed of poor folks that i knew growing up(that lived in my ghetto apts.) and went to my school, they would joke around and talk about others, even if they didn't like the rich kids, they would still hold their things and therefore them, eventually in higher regard. but all the while hate the kids.
it was like better things=better people, even if they knew that person didn't deserve shit. lol.

i never convinced myself of anything except that i didn't give a fuck about having stuff and i hated rich lil punk asses lol.

but i also grew up in the central valley where people just gossiped and talked a lot.

Whitey went to college & worked his ass off to get on the moon.

& While whitey was on the moon, ...the author was probably on the corner tryin to live his 'rap career' or whatever you call it "keepin it real"

....thats all.
LOL. By far the funniest shit I've read on this board in a looooong time. Many of whitey's so called accomplishments should be credited to the very people that put him in the position to accomplish them in the first place. If you don't know who I'm referring to just think of whoever he's fucked over in the process of establishing a white dominated society.

And before anyone attacks me, know this, I educate myself and I get my money among other things so this is not me trying to play the victim. I don't want or need for shit, except for my people and the rest of the oppressed to be free....

....that's all.

Why would you hate rich lil punk asses?
the position that i was in.
i wasn't able to get any clothes that fit me for 2 years, while some kids at school had a ridiculous amount of clothes and would tease me for havin to wear pants during summer, it was an average of 101 that summer too.

now for the true test - are you on the moon?
naw i'm on a whole diff. dimension!

So is "whitey" defined as someone who has stepped on people to get where he/she is? Better question; are all rich white people "whitey" under the assumption that they must have fucked someone over to get where they are or are there a seperate class of honest rich whites..

And before anyone attacks me, know this, I educate myself and I get my money among other things so this is not me trying to play the victim. I don't want or need for shit, except for my people and the rest of the oppressed to be free....
How is it that YOU were able to educate and employ yourself while the rest of "your people" are not? Is this because your were privelaged or because you took the initiative?
