It really depends, its not just the size of the sample, but also the size of the population you're trying to generalize to. That being said, if they are sampling from students (which is where *most* subjects come from in psych), then there are obvious biases in the population. Like I said I spent a couple minutes trying to find the primary source that shitty article references without citing and I cant track it down, so I'll give the science the benefit of the doubt, and say its probably the dumb fucking science journalists that are misrepresenting the study.
true. but it also just showed what 400 black and white ppl felt...whoever they were. cant generalize that to the american population, but i think the results do reflect how a lot of white ppl feel. i dont think the study is racist, but rather is pointing out something that needs to be talked about and looked into. or we can just go around and keep accusing others of being racist
