I toured the Jameson factory in cork, that was great and the tour is free (if you sneak in)

Fucking love it only thing I drink besides beer on a regular basis. Birngs the the pig outta me though.. Got my grown man on switched to Gentlemens Jack.. LOL..

But uh yeah ur making me wanna drink and Im stayin sober for a couple weeks so Im not reading this thread...

i drink Jack Daniels exclusively...the bar i hang out at is #3 amoung Jack sales in california, and the owner says me and my dad drink the most....on my shelf i have 7 bottles of single barrel, a bottle of gren lable (only sold in 3 states), a 1981 Gold Medal winning bottle, a cherrywood case with 2 bottles in it, 1 of the bottles is from 75 years ago the year prohibition started and the other bottle is from 70 years ago the year it ended...
the difference between black lable and single barrel is just how they distill it...at the factory all the product goes into wooden barrels...then it is mixed as many time as it takes with other barrels to get that consistent black lable taste.. and single barrel is just the finished product and goes on the shelf, each barrel has its own taste, i have had some that is exceptionally smooth and ive had some that taste like kerosene...

our bar orders a barrel a year( thats where my 7 came from)...they send out 5 samples and about 5 of us sample it and then the owner orders what we pick....

here is the gold medal bottle...

so i went down to get my bottle of regular single barrel and they got this single barrel select now. im not trying to get that snobby, so i just bought the regular barrel, but maybe for new years all get that barrel select.

I use to drink alot of kessler back in the day.....One of my friends would always get a big ass bottle and like 3 2 liters of coke....He still smashes all types of whiskey to this day....Hes an alcholic....

God damn, whiskey is the only alcohol I fuck with anymore. I have to drink too much beer if I want to get drunk. Jameson and Gentleman Jack (expensive but amazing) are where it's at.
