id rather watch 2 boxers actually BOX, than 2 different mma fighters from diff fighting backgrounds, still end up on the ground together for most of the whole 3 or 5 rounds

I love MMA but boxing is just more exciting for me. Like SC_408 said. Id rather have two boxers slug it out than having to watch 2 niggaz with 2 different styles on the floor most of the fight. I can smoke a cig, come back and they will be in the same position.

I know they can't just go kick a mother fucker, or anything, but I was answering dude's question... he's the one who didn't understand... I know the premise of boxing, and there has been some GREAT fights over the years, but a lot of fans have gone away from the sport because it's not really that appealing watching only one part of a fighters game... When MMA incorporates everything into one...

go start some mma vs boxing debate elsewhere, shit is played the fuck out. Two different sports entirely. If someone has a thread about a football game I don't enter and be like, yo man football sucks cuz they one dimensional, they don't know how to slam a ball in the hoop! gtfo

Ehh, MMA is actual overall fighting technique and brute behavior, whereas boxing is upper body athleticism and psychologically based.

Just because both involve punches doesn't mean they aren't like apples and oranges.
