Anybody from the Bay ever go to any APW events?? I used to go every time I was visiting my dad. That shit was so fun when they were in the wherehouse, $15 for front row tix and theres no guard rail and youre about 5 feet from the ring. I saw Crash Holly when he was The Leprechaun Erin O'Grady, Spike Dudley when he was Matt Hyson, Michael Modest, Maxx Justice (they show him in Beyond the Mat, the movie) and perhaps the most badass wrestler of all time, Vicious Vic Grimes

i was into anything wrestling,watched all the federations...but seemed right when wwf seemed to tail off ECW was just peeking with RVD,Taz,Sabu,Dudley Boys,Lance Storm,Justin Credible etc.

I met Vic Grimes before. He had a tables match with Steve Rizzano(XPW king of the deathmatch) and during the match they were outside the ring, and in the crowd and i had on my New Jack 187 shirt on...went up to him did the arm cross in his face and called him a fat faggot, me and him were cussing each other out(i was like 14) and after the match he introduced me to Major Guns. Vic Grimes is a real funny mother fucker. Major Guns titties were like on my head when i took a picture with her. Also i met the honkey tonk man the same night. Dude is a asshole. But me and vic grimes during the autograph session were seeing who can stare at major guns's titties the longest without her catching it. I lost. HAHA. That was at a BTW event.

Man have you ever heard of CZW? Well a dude there has the Sabu pants right. Well i was pissed off like a mother fucker because of that. Because you dont just get them pants. You earn em. Sabu and Hayabusa are the only ones with them pants. Its like a badge of honor in japan.
Sabu has a bad ass back injury. They just had a tribute show for him for the surgury. I remember the Matter of Respect Match between Sabu and Taz. That IMO is the best match i have ever seen. Next to the Gladiator(mike awesome) vs Masato Tanaka Feud in FMW.I used to have a homeboy who traded video tapes from niggas in japan in 96-99. So shit, i had that lucky as fuck. Also man....If you wanna see Chris Jericho and Eddie Gurrero at their best, find the Super J Cup Tournament from Japan. That shit there will blow your mind away.

Vics a fucking sav. The first APW show I went to he did 3 variations of the diamond cutter that were the craziest things I ever saw. On one of em he started to do a power bomb, but when he got the guy above his head he let go so the guy did a flip and then he caught his head and Diamond Cuttered the fuck out of him, lol it was so sick.
And then the next show I went to he jumped off the garage door, you can see it behind the pic of Erin O'Grady I posted, onto the Brown Bomber on a table. And later he took this white pimp that was in WestSide2000 and brought him outside the wherehouse so everyone ran outside. And then Erin O'Grady pulls up in a Caddy and they open the trunk and pull out an extension chord and tie the guys legs up and then tie the other end to the trunk. Then they got in the car and started revving the engine but the rest of WS2000 came out and hit Vic in the head with a chair about 10 times. lmao it was like the most nonstop action I ever saw
I loved ECW but I was only with it for like its last 2 years. I used to have a black box and the first PPV I saw was when Bam Bam Bigelow threw Spike from the ring into the crowd and from then on I was hooked. I still got some of the old Friday night shows on tape, its a bitch to fastforward thru all the t shirt and video commercials

See man, i was young as fuck like 7 or 8 when i saw ecw for the 1st time. It was The gangstas vs the Eliminators vs RVD and Sabu(best tag match i've ever seen). My friend's cousin was from philly.Brought the tape and we watched it 3 times. I just bought the tape from Rfvideo while back. I forgot the name because i dont fuck with VHS no more. ANd i come froma family where we watched wrestling every saturday night back when. So it was so new to me.
Also WCW back in like 90-93 were some crazy shit. Vader, Sid Vicious, Sting, Jonny B Badd...man even abdulah the butcher was in WCW at one point.
But lol...wrestling still pumps in these vains mane.
