Simi Valley, Ca, one of the safest cities in America.
40 miles from downtown LA. Home of the Rodney King police trial, Ronald Reagan Presidential Library, and the worst nuclear melt down in U.S. history. Where Poltergeist, E.T., M.A.S.H., Little House On The Prairie, and countless other movies, tv shows, and commercials were filmed. Also home of Skate Lab skate park which can be seen in Limp Bizkits Break Stuff video and also in the Jackass movies. Simi Valley was also a Charles Manson hang out. It's only 5 min away from Spahn Ranch where the family used to live. In fact the hills around Simi have numerous caves Manson and his goons used to kick it in. All in all it's just like any other town in Cali just outside the big city.
