The Coming is a classic in my book. his next 2 were dope but from then on i only like a track or verse here and there.
Anarchy was the last listenable one for me (it had quite a few good songs in fact). After that there was gem of a track here and there but the vast majority of the material was pure thrash. And it wasn't because he has lost his skills on the mic, he still has them, however he has always tried to "keep up with the times" which after a certain point resulted in material that was the very epitome bland generic crap.

There is no other MC that I can think of who better exemplifies that phenomenon (and the development/regression of hip-hop as a whole over the years) - LL Cool J has done a similar thing but he has been specializing in the songs-for-the-ladies genre for a while so it's not quite the same, Snoop has always kept some West Coast flavor in all his albums, etc.

That may have been true in the 90s. In the 00s it was exactly the opposite - for a while everyone has been rapping in exactly the same unvaried boring way. Busta himself has slowed down quite a bit

the way he got that presence on the Mic with the flow, that dude is a true mc. they don't make rappers like him anymore. he went a bit too mainstream for my tastes but go get that money breh. been on my radar ever since 'just another case of that ole PTA'.
that bet cypher showed his power in the Mic. his style and Mic presence was on point. kendrick lamar's flow was dope, but he had no expression or emotion behind his flow. busta lookin old and bloated and still killt it.

I fuckin hate his verse on worldwide choppers...."what in the world is you provin when they know ur the best" (not exact but thats what he says)....oh i forgot ur just SOOOOO dope u dont have to rhyme anymore. let alone that stuttering bullshit in the verse is gay. I saw an interview where they had asked Busta to do it and he scoffed at the idea at first, and then agreed after hearing the "first five different guys rap"...um those five different guys were TECH. so what does that say, if tech spits five verses that are so dope Busta thought they were all different dudes. he acts as if TECH NEEDS HIM to be on the song...no Busta U NEED TECH. cocky ass verse, u can be cocky all u want but not if it aint true.
