hmmm...funny...last time i checked the percentage of hicks in our age group in woodinville was about, um, 0. maybe 0.1% tops. and i agree, the degree of havin to "watch your back" in the 2 areas differs. but there are people that would make short work of, yes, even the mighty d-sane. not talkin shit home boy, but ur guys image of some people in this town is all twisted up. NO DOUBT, it is highly saturated with pussy ass rich white kids. thats a fact. but there are people who have grown up around here or lived here for quite a while that u would hafto be a complete MORON to flex on, no matter how much dirt or street smarts u claim to have....if u HAVE street smarts, ud be smart enuff not to flex. not no truck driving hicks im talkin about...just REAL dudes who are BOUT thier shit. and im not denying d-sane or any other city dweller thier credibility, i know what theyre about, and theyre real too, but the people im talkin about are seriosuly insane. on another note, i know of several folks from East Side Piru (i see u laughin....go ahead...laugh in thier face) who were on the grind up n down rainier ave, doin the same damn thing as those other "inner city" cats....theres one particular cat i know with a dragon tatted across his face, whos probably the realist person ive ever met. and ive met a LOT of people from both sides. its all the same, i dont know how often i must stress that. i never said crime conditions were as bad as the big city, that would be stupid, cuz there are less people like that in these citys to up it. but heres a funny lil fact i came across.....i was doin that crime statistic shit....and the percentage (to every 100,000 people in the givin city) the murder rate in woodinville is higher than tacoma....shocked the hell outta me. so basically if woodinville was the same size as tacoma, there would theoretically be more murders in woodinville. i found that hilarious. woodinville actually doesnt have any ghettos i can think of. the closest thing is a mexican filled apartment complex. but anyways, its all good. everybodies got thier opinion. im just stating facts from this end of the spectrum to let all the dont knows know whats really.

by the way, FUCK monroe...it IS a hick town. i just was tryin to get it across the point that there are ghettos everywhere, even in hick towns like monroe.

very funny. ya, theres a good amount of crime in monroe. but its mainly drug/car theft oriented....and all those crime stats are showin is the percentage of crime. if u were to make monroe as large on a scal as tacoma, it would have more numbers of crime, not just a higher percentage....see what im sayin?

"Every neighborhood got a trigga happy nigga, who dont give a fuck about puttin 2 in ya liver" ~ Celly Cel

The plain truth is, u shouldnt assume shit about a person just based on what area theyre from. Being from Seatown dont automatically make u a hogg, and being from Woodinville dont automatically make u soft. Its all about how the INDIVIDUAL handles their's, not what the city they live in is like. On the other hand, I gotta agree with what D said. It takes real street smarts to survive in the inner city...whereas runnin the streets of some suburban town like Woodinville doesnt take that. Myself, I live in Shoreline, a pretty peaceful suburban area...but Im a Seatown cat to the fullest...born there and have roamed the streets there more than in Shoreline. So I know Seattle pretty well....have been through shit in the "good" areas and the "bad" ones, from slangin, to breakin on SPD, to bein in the midst of life threatening funk. I dont consider myself a "thug" or a "street nigga" by any means, but I aint no stranger to the street life and have seen, heard, and been through plenty. And based on my experience, Ill tell u that yea, if u run the streets youre gonna have to watch youre back anywhere....and being in the suburbs dont make u any less "real". But livin the street life in the suburbs and livin it in a major metropolitan city is way different. I didnt want to be the person to argue about who's town is "harder", but basically, to sum it up since I cant think of any better way to put it....Seattle and Tacoma ARE HARDER.

^^^^EXACTLY....thats the point I was tryna make with my Celly Cel quote, but I couldnt think up a better one off the top of my head. But that quote u just put pretty much sums it up right there.

wise words peter....and thatr Maniac Lok quote does sum it all up...i agree there are perspectives of inner city/street life that are harder to deal with than suburban, theres no doubt about it. but u are what u make yourself.

There are no gangs or ghettos in Aberdeen. There are like 2 hard people over there. Small ass town, I used to live in Hoquiam, which is basically aberdeen. 1 mile away from each other... peace
