im feeling currency's music more than khalifa's. but from what ive heard khalifa is nice too. haven't checked out enough of khalifa's stuff to tell the truth. but i been liking currency's music for a couple years now. pilot talk is one of the best cds of this year in my opinion.
but both currency and wiz khalifa make pothead music. they kinda like the new red and meth from down south. im gonna assume you don't smoke if you can't vibe to their music.

Take my comment how you want but me comparin him on a Dre level is my own personal OPINION. When I hear Wiz who to ME is not a GASSER on the mic JUST LIKE Mac Dre wasn't gassin on the mic IMO. ........BUT the both of them have very interesting wordplay.......the type that make stupid beats sound tight.
But yea.....Mac Dre didn't get slapped in the face by my opinion......just your own thoughts did that and whoever else feels the same.

yeah youre def entitled to your own opinion..but dres been rappin for a long ass time...some would say hes a veteran on the mic.....some bay area people would go as far as calling him a legend...
but on some particular third person type steez, mac dre had way more personality and charisma to him that only a few people are born with in life...and before he died, his work ethic on the independent level was some shit no one ever seen before, like dropping all those different albums with different characters, kool keith was doing it on the underground but you didnt have a turf cat like, bridging the gap between fun music and street rap like that..
then the whole thizz thing, dre singlehandedly created the word thizz and gave ecstacy a second wind as a drug, he had people eating thizz every day, young kids throwing up t's...all the shit.....so although i just gave you a long ass explanation thats why i was saying hes nothing like dre and could never fit those shoes...
and im not even a huge dre fan like that, i mean i like most of his shit but i dont like own all dres albums or nothing...but treal tv and treal tv two were classic dvds and dre just had something that many rappers didnt and wont ever have...
and you know i thought mac dre wasnt gassin' lyrically until i got older and kinda learned more about game and shit..not to say you dont know about game cuz im sure you do and im not a person to say what another person knows...buuuuut like dre was spittin ism on the mic...he would say something in a half a bar that took other rappers 2-4 bars... like you could take 'i treat my bitch like an atm card' and get a whole verse out of that....
i was watchin mac dre interviews on youtube the other day...that nigga threw out classic lines at random throughout talking...thats some pimp shit...wiz would want to be like that one day..but he gotta long way...and i dont think hell ever be able to hold up against dre even if he died at the height of his career....dude really aint THAT interesting.....
its crazy dre actually was one of the last few people that we had in that generation that understood what making albums was about.....time will tell if we ever get 'albums' like that again

Kudos to you on that Oak shit. And I never stated WHAT gassin entailed to begin with...but since you stated your standards......MINE include lyrics and bars. ........To me Dre didn't do that all the time.........but to each his own.
