I like Q, but he isn't going to get any bigger then Psychopathic.

And they don't really need an album to blow up, because dumb ass Juggalos will keep their pockets lined with merch, plus every album they release still does pretty good (not as good as Milenko and AJB did, but good).
I don't really see it that way.

Pretty much every juggalo I know already loves Q. Seeing as he's opened shows for them, been mentioned by them numerous times, etc., I don't see how he'd have anything to gain from signing to Psy. He pretty much already has their fanbase, any juggalo that doesn't already buy or check out his shit probably doesn't like him anyway or doesn't own the internet. I guess if Q wants to give over half of his CD earnings to ICP in exchange for slightly more purchases and some Hatchetgear merchandise, that's his choice.

Meanwhile you got another niche guy like Tech N9ne who has his own label backing him, heavily supporting him and he sells better than anyone on Psychopathic does right now. He not only has the juggalo fanbase from working with Psy, he also has his own fanbase to add to that. And just imagine... Q Strange on Strange Music. BOOK IT, DANNO.

Yeah, but Strange is basically like Psychopathic before ICP realized Twiztid is the present and future of Psychopathic. Tech is who they really care about, everyone else takes a 2nd to him. I don't think he'd do much better on Strange. Plus you know Psychopathic would pump out all kinds of merch for him to sell (not saying I wanted him on Psychopathic or HH, I'm pretty sure I never said this). All though, it would be better then doing nothing.

Yeah the Strange Music mention was more because it would be ironic if it happened. I was mainly trying to illustrate the kind of backing Tech has behind his own label and how Q would be wise to try to set something like that up for himself, if he could.

To tell you the truth I dont give much of a shit about Q in the first place. I just want to see him release that album for MIR so Mars can make money off of him, and then I can borrow money off of Mars. After that he can sign to G-Unit for all I care.

Is ANY horrorcore-esque rapper/group going to go further than being signed to Psy?

Probably not.
Probably not, but it's never impossible. Stupid shit happens all the time. Even if someone has great skills and shit they will not rock the style. There is no money in this genre really and every rapper in the world must realize that. A rapper will never make it in this world just off horrorcore alone yet Necro somewhat did it, but Necro is a lot different from anyone in this genre.

Horrorcore just sucks. Why do we even talk about it anymore? There are tons of rappers not making horrorcore music that are highly skilled and more creative than anyone in this genre so why get stuck on this shit?

Know what i don't understand there are some lowly rappers around here in this scene and they are stuck or they just don't wanna be big. They have skills to a certain extent, but they stay here. I'm only really talking about one person.

Q has a shitload of skills, horrorcore, and his tracks wit the punchlines. psy would be good for him cuz then he gets the credit he deserves, but they also got a tendency to try and change people. shit jus wouldnt b right hearin Q rappin about juggalos. its not his thing. but then again look around, music is all goin underground.

Q should sign with psy he would not have to rap about Juggalos necessarily. they have the money to promote and market him, but what would be the coolest if he could release something on MIR!

<3 x 3
And I wasn't talking about you there anyways. I was talking about the kids that think they need to buy everything ICP and Twiztid releases (merch), that is what I was trying to say before me and Doom started our Juggalo convo..lol.

Is ANY horrorcore-esque rapper/group going to go further than being signed to Psy?

Probably not.
Most likely not. Psychopathic is the Major Leagues as far as horrorcore goes. Only other label that could even kinda compare to Psychopathic is Psychological, but they still don't come close to Psychopathic on their money making game.

Q should sign with psy he would not have to rap about Juggalos necessarily. they have the money to promote and market him,
I honestly agree. He could do a lot worse. He would get promotions and some good sells. And if he doesn't like it- Leave! He can make some money, and have that on his list of shit he accomplished/did.

In the end. I like Q, but I don't sit around craving another Q Strange album from him, so I could give two shits about what he does. Yeah if he makes one-thats awesome, and I'll probably cop it.
