What's the nearest you've come to death?

I OD'ed. I really thought I was going to die. I was standing but couldn't move, speak, or see. I was aware that I was standing, but the more my brain told my body to act, the more I sank into nothingness. I knew things were bad when I stared to see, almost like relive for a split second, past parts of my life. It was getting to the point where I couldn't breath (like my brain forgot how to) and I could feel my heart beating slower. I was trying to not get scared but I knew I was in a bad spot. Eventually just before I passed out from lack of oxygen, a friend found me. It was one of the most humbling experiences in all my life.

Seriously though, what'd you OD on if you don't mind me asking? I took too many NO-DOZ once and I thought I was gonna have a heart attack. Back at CS school in Quantico those COBOL programming classes were hella boring. I used to fall asleep during some really important stuff. Anyway, my heart was racing, I couldn't stop my hands from shaking and when I looked in any direction it felt like my eyeballs were moving 3 times as fast as my neck could turn my head. I felt like my whole insides were vibrating. I was hella scared. Never did that shit again.

Once I was just chillin watchin tv....no phone workin at the time...I started 2 have a small pain ..which I thought was my heart..the pain started 2 hurt...more then I can take it...then I started havin problems taking in air....2 a point where I was gasping...then the pains started 2 feel like someone was jabbing me with a knife...I then walked 2 the nearest pay phone (about 5 mins away from the appartment I was living in)called my pops cause hes a fire cheif...then he asked me questions that would let him know if it was a heart attack...but it was'nt...the pain started going away..then when I got back home...he got really bad...2 the point that I was cryin like a bitch cause I could'nt breath....and the pain was 10 times worse...I walked down the street 2 my friends girlfirends house hopein he was there...which he was....then they rushed me 2 the ER which turned out 2 be an infected lung...I swear I thought I was dying....I was prayin 2 god and everything.....
got hit in the throat, caused a hole in my treakia ( duno about spelling) oxygen was leaking into my skin tissue and started to seperate it, and spread to my lungs where it started to collapse my lungs so i couldnt breathe, was in the hospital for a month.. hella tests, hella gay assed shit, didnt sleep much , was in a zombie state
about 10 years ago i was at the cockfights in the patterson area and there were about 400 people there in an almond orchard. there were alote of big money betters there from the bay, la and fresno. when all of a sudden about half way through the derby about 15 to 20 guys in masks opened fire trying to surround us to rob our money. luckily back in the day i was a vendor who sold beer, soda, cigs, and food which meant i was allowed to park closer to the action than most. that turned out to be of great help because as soon as the bullets started ringing me, my cousin, uncle, and father were quickly in our car and out of there. on the way out there was a guy blocking the dirt road who yelled at us to stop, he had an AK47 we all ducked and floored it past him . we heard shots from the rifle but i think he shot in the air cause not 1 bullet hit us or the car. of the 400 people that were there only about 100 to 150 people got away. we later spoke to some of the people who didnt get away and some of really got cleaned out. they estimated that the bandits got away with about at least $300,000 in cash and jewelry. thats the only time something like that has ever happened hopefully it will never happen again
