I put this poll up to prove the demographics of this site and why alot of people argue about todays game and the direction of music. Today's music game is marketed to the 13 to 17...and on this site looks like its very few of those. Most users on here wants the Bay to come back to the 90's style of music/business and it seems the graph proves its because of the average age on here.

artists from the 80's passed the torch to the 90's for the most part the artist from the 80's have nothin but love for the 90's artists they thought they did hip hop justice and made a huge impact but when you get to the 2k and beyond a magority of 80' and 90's aritsts dont even think that this is hip hop or even music for that matter and alot of fans on the net agree almost every artist from back in the day that has videos on youtube 99.9% of the comments are fuck the new music like drake and wayne and alot of others I'm not hating on the new generation just saying what I see and here from alot of the older artists and fans from the 80's and 90's from all over the country but the lables continue to put out the young demograph which is cool but it seems they are losing more money then just going with the talent like back in the day it is still proven that talent sells in music but the labels want quick ringtones that sell alot and when the album comes out is does nothing thats just hustlin backwards imo pz

I dont hear 40 saying any of that. Seems to be the ones that arent hot anymore that have the problems and say it aint hip hop anymore. Iwill agree that its not the same as it was back then...but some music is even better now then it was then in my opinion. Yes there is also alot of bullshit too..more now then then..but there was bullshit then too, just not as much.

I say it depends on what you listen too... most main stream songs today all have the same ..money, cars, glam life, so I agree...thats what SELLS today.. But there are still young artist that are emerging with more conscious type of music , underground hip hop, music with meaning...you got to search for it thats all.
