Friday the 13th for NES.

Seems like it would take an hour+to scratch the surface of Jason's energy level and just like most games back then you die and that's it.

I'll also have to admit, even though I have never lied about it. I only got to Mike Tyson one time and then got KTFO. I used the cheat to fight him many times but never won.

contra was like the bible when i was a kid. beat it and super C. (NES). battle toads was HARD! finally beat that, and finally beat Darwing Duck. battle toads and darkwing were TUFF. but i NEVER ever beat the original ninja turtles for NES. such a tough game. i kinda liked it though. i beat it on emulator years later, but that doesn't count

most of you will never admit that you never got past mike tyson on mike tysons punch out.

even fewer will admit that they had to use a code to get there.

wasnt the hardest game, but 90 percent of you never beat mike tyson and have been lying about it your entire adulthood.

nows the time to admit it.
i always had more trouble with the sandman. tyson/mr dream wasnt hard once u got the timing of dodging his uppercuts

this og nes game i used to play called pow. that shit is immpossible
POW slapped in the arcade.

ikari warriors was impossible to beat unless you knew the infinite lives code...the last levels looked so fucked up that it was obvious they didnt expect anyone to get that far so they didnt put much work in on it

ninja gaiden, every ninja gaiden that dropped, they have this part where you try to jump over a pitfall and while youre jumping some shit flies out of nowhere, hits you and you fall in the pitfall

a boy and his blob, if there was an ending to that shit i never got anywhere near it

theres a few others, i know no one beat duck hunt or gyromite

i dont think i ever beat ghouls and ghosts either

and of course, Ninja Gaiden, altho i did end up beating that cause i use to play it religiously... one of my all time favorites.

contra on 3 lives...no code...that shit was impossible!!
I've done that. That game ain't too hard as long as you don't go doing stupid stuff trying to get better weapons. You can beat this game in less than 30 minutes.

Just about any Ninja Gaiden related game. I've never beat a single one of those bitches. Mad fun and probably some of the best games ever made but Ninja Gaiden 3 was stupid hard. I would always get to the same point and die pretty much. No continues. I have no idea how close I ever got to the end.

I've gotten to Mike Tyson/Mr. Dream a bunch of times and never beat it.

I didn't beat Mario 3 til I was in my 20's cause I would just get bored with it and I didn't like to warp.

Goldeneye for N64 was pretty hard on the hardest level.

Games were way harder back in the day. I can still play tecmo super bowl and lose every now and again. If I had any xbox360 game as long as I've had that one, I'd never lose

Out of Xbox 360 and PS3 games, Ninja Gaiden II was the hardest game I've played. Had an old school feel to it. Not just a button mashing game, actually took strategy and skill to beat that shit.

System Shock 2
ROTK 10
Platoon (on the NES, the game where you would run around in vietnam having mother fuckers jump out of trees and shit)
Kessen

Can't think of anymore atm..
