What's The Hardest Game You've Ever Owned?

What game have you had that you could never seem to beat?

Mine; Contra: Shattered Soldier on PS2. If you have ever heard of it, you would know it's infamously difficult. My friend and I would play it on co-op, with the cheat for 30 lives each on, still couldn't make it past the start of the last level.

Pretty much any action game for the NES. Just like the other thread mentiuons, most of these games dont have save points/continues. So when you die...thats it. You have to do it ALL over again. I beat Zelda because I could save it. Same with Metroid.

man, all the oldschool games were hard.

I remember back in the day it was a real accomplishment to beat the game. Like you would brag to all your friends and tell them how you beat such and such and they'd be amazed. Usually would take weeks if not months to do. This was the pre-internet easy to find walkthroughs, days

Now days you're lucky if a game last you 6 hours. Weak shit.

Some games though, were stupid hard and for no reason at all. I used to HATE some games, get so mad throw the controller at the TV/computer type of mad.

I can't remember the name, but there was one game the ONLY way to pass to the final level was to go back & forth between two screens exactly 72 times. WTF? Took for ever wasting days looking for clues on what to do. That was pointless and impossible! That was a cheap type of hard.

most of you will never admit that you never got past mike tyson on mike tysons punch out.

even fewer will admit that they had to use a code to get there.

wasnt the hardest game, but 90 percent of you never beat mike tyson and have been lying about it your entire adulthood.

nows the time to admit it.

Friday the 13th for NES.

Seems like it would take an hour+to scratch the surface of Jason's energy level and just like most games back then you die and that's it.

I'll also have to admit, even though I have never lied about it. I only got to Mike Tyson one time and then got KTFO. I used the cheat to fight him many times but never won.

no lie i was going to say friday the 13th once you would hulk up and get the machete you go lookin for jason and he would murk your ass. mike tysons puch out as well as punch out i can honestly say no cheats and i beat him it took a bunch of times of making it to him and mr. dream but beat them both
