Honestly, much as I hate to say it, this is just commercial retread...

I am happy for Lynch for making it, given all the label issues he has had in the past and the severe lack of widespread exposure he has received over the years (and which he deserves for his classics)..

This record, however, is just more Strange Music fodder...commercial beats, subdued lyricism...a more palatable, marketable prepackaged Lynch for the warped tour-bound best buy shoppers to pick up...

That track "Siccem" is cool, but on the whole, this record could have been way darker, crazier...and Lynch's flow mimics tech n9ne's at a number of points...where's that ripgut shit?

I was really psyched hearing G-Macc on many of those tracks, however...he kills it every time.

First of all I have to say it's a good album, but then I have to ask, where the storytelling is?!

I thought it's supposed to be an album that tells a story, but if you leave the skits out, you wouldn't really notice.

Most of the tracks are about the same shit. So why say the album tells a story??? I was expecting some Rescue 911 (Dru Down) or It's All Bad (WC) kinda shit, based on how it was advertised...

I think it's fair to say the album is average. I'm only feelin' 6 tracks out of 14.
Lynch IS spittin', but, he's not really sayin' nothin'. His verses are everywhere.

There are only 3 tracks that actually have a concept. 'Sit In That Corner Bitch', 'Meat', and 'I Tried to Commit Suicide'. The rest basically boast about how crazy/hard he is. 'D.O.A' is cold, though. He should've sat down and made somethin' original, like G-Macc's '4 Corner Room', IMO.

The beats are hit and miss with me. (I would've rather seen Lynch spit on some Beta/G-Macc beats) But, a few are bangers are on here. Mainly Seven's....

after the first play through i was actually a little disappointed....every track sounds damn near the same as far as lyrical content....i like the beats....shocked that COS didnt make an appearance as well as having no beta or tall can appearances... guess i was hoping for a more sicc made album...the album being through strange will get lynch exposure to the world though....also wanted less fucking skits....im assuming the dinner was the tracks and the movie would be the skits...but fuck they should have included a dvd movie with the story that would be like a to be continued through each album until the 3rd album released...getting real tired of skits and shit qualifying as a track...the album without skits is short as fuck....really without the skits though the album had no direction...which brings me back to each track sounding the same as far as content goes...quality album but it fell short for me since ive been waiting almost a decade....

I WONDER WHY THEY CUT "SHE THINKS IMA PSYCHO" FROM THE ALBUM CUZ THAT TRACK WENT HARDER THAN SOME OFF OF DAAM
Agree 100% with that. I still bump that track....that track is super hard....Old School Lynch right there. But this CD just sounds the same all the way through....boring features....boring beats.....same flow and lyrical content. Not impressed. Bloc Buisness is harder than this release.

Man.......I'm a little confused right now.....After one listen I'm kinda blown back by the album. The sound and production was pretty fuckin' slammin' and Lynch fuckin' ripped harder than I've heard since way before Lynch by Inch came out. After one listen I can tell I already like it a lot more than LBI and I can't believe that I like it so much........this shit is way tighter than I had anticipated.........

Oh and I think the skits and shit were great and I love how the album ends the first chapter of the story. I'm impressed........

Good album not great
xM81x is right on doe alot of the beats sounded commercial not blamin Strange or the producers cause Im sure Lynch picked most of em,most of the beats didnt seem to fit Lynch.Needed that dark evil paranoid old Siccmade sound a.k.a. Beta Lynch/Evil G Macc type beats.Lynch killed lyrically in my opinion even doe dudes say he scatters and dont stay on subject which is true I didnt care still diggin it.But Lynch seems to have lost somethin on his flow, he used to just ride the fuck out of the beat and just fucking rape it,on alotta of this album he sounds kinda choppy, different, but over I still think Lynch came pretty damn hard on the album. Good not epic 8.5 of 10

As far as the features COS fucking killed his verse his best since Siccmade Rituals in my opinion.G Macc came hard as always.Tech and Kalko's verses were damn good.Daz and Kurupt were average but Snoop actually murdered his verse. And C lim was raw as fuck on I Heard That Song B4, which suprised me cause I aint hear but a handfull of Lim's shit but never really cared for it but I'll have check out some more
