i gave relapse a mental four after listening to it a dozen or so times. the production is top fucking notch, but i just wasnt feeling some of the tracks. a perfect five would be an album you dont have to fast forward or skip around with. it had more to do with spits than making great songs. and that aspect suffered the album a bit.
i was going with a four for daam, until i caught it all. for what it is, i mean. it lands at a four-and-a-half. it would be a five, i can listen to this all the way through time and again--as i clearly do--but some of the production wasnt as clean as it could be. it's just missing a little overall. it's not perfect. but it is certainly one of few.
btw- i would give sods and loaded each a solid four

im not without my complaints or things i would have liked
to have seen in a LYNCH album after a 7 year absence without a solo but
it is a nice album.....

It's a decent album. Overall, the production is not bad, but none of the tracks really stand out to me. What bothered me the most about the album, is that Lynch's lyrics are very random with lots of filler rhymes. If you were to take a verse from one song and switch it for a verse from a different song, I doubt anybody would even notice.
