Truth is most in dago aint even ready for this rap game, they to busy workin on a mixtape that no one wants to hear, and then think cause them and their brother are at fam bam parking lot, that they have a street team. Unless I really want to fuck with an artist on a personal level I wouldnt fuck with anyone who didnt have a thought out plan...waste of time. I noticed most in dago are busy copying what the next man did, and the results do not look good. Its funny I heard back in the day..just like i hear now " Man its like dope if the product is hot its gonna sell itself" what a bunch of fuckin morons. Thats partially why no one buys dago rap..cause not many people are aware shits even out, or even exposed to it...yeah so you got your record on the radio and they spun it 2 times at 4 in the morning while everyone was a sleep....with out some basic structure and plan..failure is almost certain..and i dont want to hear about how you hopped on stage with so and so ....its a start and shows at least you have a lil drive, but that aint gonna cut it, and then ya wanna get mad cause you aint getting paid to perform "who are you?" Everyone is stuck in the basic formula
1.get beats for free because you dont even have the confidence to invest in yourself and know you will make a profit and get all that back.
2. Record at lil limper legs house because he got a free limited edition of pro tools with his fruity loops. He knows how to press record and stop and can cut and paste...that must make him equivelent to an engineer who has an ear.
3. Find someone that will burn 50 copies because you wont press at least 500-1000. again thats too much, maybe with this confidence you can get someone who will invest in the half ass attempt you have already made.\
4.Take your 50 c.ds and walk into fam bam expecting they are expected to sell your shit..consignment...man i aint giving my c.ds away for nothin...So off ya go with 50 c.ds to the parking lot, while the guy selling incense is making more then you.
5.Now you go home complain how about how no one supports the weszt.

and people continue to do the same shit and follow the same path...what happened to making your own rules and creating your own way? so before you make a c.d get your shit together.

Chula Vista, National City, San Ysidro, Downtown, the Beach areas PB, Mission, OB, .....Bottomline there's A LOT of places to go, other than just staying in the usual SouthEast areas. Expand a bit. Put stickers on your cars or something.

We also have to take tiny mille rappin priveledges away and send him to time out..hahah I agree bills gotta be paid, and lives still have to be lived, but majority just do not understand sacrifice. They talking how they need dough to press and aint got the funds , while they smoking blunts all day. 1. Lil Limper leg and C-Loc are outside a strip mall approaching people to buy c.ds. The people treat them like bums who are trying to get spare change hoping that they are not approached by them.
2. Coop and nemo are selling a c.d coop on the megaphone at same strip mall, 20 of em have same shirts promoting flyers...giving away some T-shirts ...they are by a vehicle fully wrapped sitting at a covered table selling raffle tickets and raffling off a free T.V or free.c.ds or something.....people are going to approach them because people are naturally nosy.

Now the scenario is rough but there are many things going on here that demonstrates that by a little thought you can maybe get the people on your side......how many turkeys did Sidewayz or even dofaself give to the community this holiday? get involved with your community..churches...rec centers..schools( big market?) and see if it dont come back....look at all the publicity etc....each person that you touch in some way will tell 10 people and so on.....sell a half asss c.d away the 1 person tells 10 people and so on and thre is your reputation,
With the population of San diego there is no real excuse not to sell the reason is laziness....I can understand not selling out of dago..politics etc....but dago aint small.
