if they lose and put in another shit performance (delay of game, bad play calls, bad throws, blown coverages, dumb penalties, lazy route running ) heads might roll starting with Raye and if Smith doesn't step up he will be dropped for Carr and I will lose hope.

but if they lose and go HARD and put in a solid effort, then I will remain positive and still think they will win the NFC west starting 0-2.

Win, great, that will stop alot of the negative shit going on.

Singletary on his snub of Falcons coach: It was poor sportsmanship'

SANTA CLARA, Calif. — As he left the field after the 49ers' latest defeat, coach Mike Singletary skipped the traditional postgame handshake with Atlanta coach Mike Smith.


"It was poor sportsmanship on my behalf," Singletary acknowledged Wednesday at his news conference. "I don't know if you guys ever get ticked. I'd be the first to tell my kids that it was wrong. I should have (gone) over and shook his hand. I chose not to for a number of reasons."


The Falcons beat the 49ers 16-14 on Sunday behind Matt Bryant's field goal with two seconds left. The 49ers led throughout the game only to blow several late chances to put the game away.


"I was disappointed," Singletary said, "and that was a very honest feeling after the game."


Responding to a follow-up question about the lack of handshake, Singletary said he has not spoken to Smith since the game and did not indicate he had plans to do so. A Falcons spokesman declined to comment, saying the team is now focused on its upcoming game against the Cleveland Browns.
