my POINT was...dude came to a realization at the end of the movie that what he was doing/living was not the right thing to do...then he got shot by some punk ass fruit cake who thought he was hard cause he was black and dude was some punk ass white kid. at least that's how i perceived it....

I didn't feel bad when Danny got shot. I applaud Derek for changing his views, but not even that couldn't save his brother. The way I saw it was Derek killed the dude's brother. The dude couldn't get Derek, so he got Danny instead.
