I just watched "Shrink"

http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1247692/

I give it 2.75 out of 5

It had its moments and attempts at a tear jerker. I'm not a fan of the style of movie like Crash where they have a bunch of random characters and some how they all interact and find each other. I would have thought more of this movie if it weren't for that type of style.

Worth watching streaming (like i did) when you're bored maybe, but I wouldn't recommend you go out of your way to rent it or anything.

I watched this too last week. I agree it was decent and worth watching (but not paying for). The cast was pretty good as well was the acting (Dallas Roberts role was fun to watch) but what started out interesting ended kind of the way I expect most Kevin Spacy films to end these days, left with the feeling of 'damn, I should have watched something else'.

Watched the Dark Crystal.

I don't know that I'd let my kids(if they ever exist) see this movie. It is pretty F-d' up. I don't remember how old I was when I first saw this, but probably too young.
It doesn't really hold up so well either. I guess you gotta try to remember it is puppets, but when you see Jen walking it is pretty lame.

Still better than Labyrinth though.

2 out of 5 for the legacy of it **Edit - changed to a 2 from 3 **

I watched Legend last night. Yep, the old cheesy Ridley Scott movie with Tom Criuse.

I loved it as a kid. Not so good anymore and my son turned it off and threw in Elmo...

So I'd say 2/5.

I TRIED to re-watch this the other day, after not seeing it for 20 years....and hated it.

Just watched Coraline for the first time. If you guys didn't see it when it came out it is worth it. Good story and although PG, i think it is a childhood horror movie. Very dark depressing story held up with a childhood innocence, and i dont think its to creepy to cause nightmares but maybe if they were young enough. Loved the style of animation, plenty of great looking scenes and overall an enjoyable movie to look at.

Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil

For me this is one of those movies when I kept thinking to myself "wow this movie sucks I should do something else", but then countering with I've already sat through this much of it I guess I might as well finish.

I was disappointed that I went with finishing.

I give it a 1.75 out of 5

Just watched House of 1000 Corpses on blu-ray. Hadn't seen it in a minute. One of my favorite movies, and the PERFECT movie to watch on Halloween.
