Oh and to answer the topic, Mad Insanity Records is working with a former East Co Co artist really soon by the name of Shadow and helping him put together a project. I've personally been a supporter of his music for a long time now and we linked up and are making plans.

Yeah, I dunno, I find it kinda hard to not be a Bay Area rapper when you're from the North Bay....

I've been listening to Mad Insanity/Mars since I first heard Who's Insane? and my jaw dropped, but I gotta say that "Mars Attacks" is by far the best shit I've heard from Mars, production wise, lyrically, and plain recording quality. Keep doin' the good shit.

Its not hard at all. thats like saying every rapper from the east coast is hiphop.

you make your own style. mars didnt sound like a bay rapper until time started to progress.


dont get me wrong, I dont hate the bay's sound its just... you know... yall sound the fucking same

im not big on his old shit it sounded like those audiostreet rappers like vyce and dcsniper and all those KIDS trying to be wicked and as he proggressed he got better and mars doesnt sound like every other bay area rapper he is original its bay area wicked shit horrorcore with a west coast gangsta vibe

I've been a fan of Mars for 5 years now. I agree that SIDS sounded like shit and still have the album around here somewhere on MP3. I'm glad he's going with the current trend.
