coop thats good to hear id really like to hear it

i know its a task getting all these SD albums out but in reality people want to hear them! more than just us. it just seems like mythology to alot of people. i guess us being on siccness, it might be easier for me to find blue damien. when in reality 90 percent of sd dosent know that album exists and might have newfound faith in our city if they did..i know it isnt easy but i do know someone has to get they feet in the hall of fame...and yall are doing that wiht releases whether they sell or not, years later yall will have your names set in stone for that.

theres certain albums i guess siccness put out that i hear today and im like damn i didnt know yall did that..

I was born and raised in SD. grew up in the south bay. graudated from Eastlake High School c/o 98. Started making beats since i Was 14. rapping since i was 12. My pops had a old school casio keyboard, boss dr5, and a 4 track. So i used to make beats with that at first. Hooked up with my homie Joe, thru my friend Carlos at Southwestern College. Joe had a roland mc 505. We used to make beats on that. I also had anoher homie, my dude Obi who believed in us as well.
Jump 2 years, I started working at the Sutherland Group, and Bossman Hogg worked there. This was in 2002. He told me about his dudes smigg and irocc, and he played me a couple of tracks. I slid him a beat tape, and he was interested and put me in the game. 2 weeks later, me and joe go to sidewayz old studio, and thats where I met Coop for the first time, R-Beta, Macnificent, Irocc, and Big June, all in one day! lol And the same day, bossman hogg gave us the name the jetsons, because he thought we were the west coast version of the neptunes. Joe produced Still jackin. But he really didn't like making beats professionally, he liked doing it for fun. I remember June and hogg had to pull teeth just to get the nigga to come to my pad so i could burn the beat for still jackin. So i just kept the torch lit on my own.
Through my homie Obi, he linked me up with his brother Pure Flow. Pure Flow was apart of DBD Muzik. And let me tell you, very professionally run company. First time and last time I ever signed a contract for selling a beat in daygo! lol I was amazed but impressed. I produced 2 beats for Pure Flow, and thru Pure Flow I met SoPhyne aka Factor and Capone, the Gangsta Gorillas. produced some stuff for them.
Met 50cal thru hogg. thru 50cal i met sau, shot him a few beats. but uh, thats about it as far as beats.
I rap as well. I think I am ok. started a group extended music family. we put out a few albums/mixtapes. I put out a solo album. if you want it, let me kno, i'll shoot you link. I left the group in 06 cuz my desire for music was fading and i didn't wanna bring the group down so we parted ways, but we still cool.

an extra add on top my 'contributions to SD' i wanna get this out in the air...

i mouthpieced my homie after hella weed to do the rap or die website for free...now mic loc and los was just a cat i had smoked with before, i knew sync and junk, but me and junk werent as cool as we are now. so really i didnt have to do what i did, i just said hey, my homie can make yall website look better, he did it and it ended up getting hits.. alot of hits, i was around for some of the filming of rap or die but mostly i was instrumental to the new site change.

heres where the problem lied......i guess when rap or die became a force in SD that was movin, and sync was on here with the banners he do, junk was on here with the shows he do, and i was mouthpiecin like i always do (keep in mind ive always posted alot here..that was not me promoting...), it looked like was was tryna take over siccness when it was really takin over san diego..i was fightin for what was right...and i think had it worked out on here, siccness and rap or die woulda had to be one force.....me and nemo got into it, i got banned from the site and it eventually got worked out (i made a new name, gas uno to gas one), but id like to say that at the end i hope nemo knew it was really just all about san diego coming up...sometimes you gotta form like voltron..there was no money in it for me, but if san diego became known then the money pot for all of us got bigger and that meant more money for all of us....and yeah www.********.com is still cnesored thats all good but really lets just remember in 2008 lets push this san diego shit....theres enough money for us all. i ended up getting a call from mic loc saying he talked to nemo and he was glad tht i opened up the lines of communication. thats all its about. sometimes im on here talking shit, maybe even to a noticable rapper in san diego...but at the end of the day i think my criticism was taken liek a man from that particular person and hes been putting out way better music since. i aint tryna get shot by sayin what i say on here, but if yall aint gonna jump to the forefront, i will.

lol aint that the truth i remember when i first got my triton jaz use to sit up til 5am making beats i would be getting my son ready for school and he would have made maybe 2 beats in 8hrs but they were quality way ahead of his time and now everybody that has ever had a passion for this music that i came in contact with thru the yrs are all involved in the same circle one way or another..

yo rasan i still talk to your E.M.F people they just gave me the new album for the sicc shop...

Oh Yeah on This Knok C.d.. Rasan produced the song "Back to the Days" feat Regg Nutt, Bossman Hogg, and Gangsta Boi...
There are alot of people in Dago..from the artists and producers to people like Dj Junk, Coop, and Jack Dee, Nemo who out there helping the rap scene. I will say this...Irocc has done more then most people will realize for Dago rap. Also I have to give it up to my Boy Slikk Rikk..If yall remember the Butterfly effect movie...Without Rikk, I cant even tell ya how many rappers in the east might not have rapped..Baby Skar, Shannon-Bo, Daddy S, AK...with out them maybe no Bossman Hogg, Lil Storman, Young Sau..Without them maybe no Tiny-O(T-Sixx) etc...Im sure rap would still be here, but 1 litlle detail could change the whole picture..
