Let me get this straight, so there would be no big deal if THIS section of THIS forum was labeled as the "Rap" forum, as opposed to the "Hip-Hop" forum??

Bump your back pack shit, spray paint walls, breakdance, and quit giving a fuck what other people listen to, or post, and what forum sections are labeled as. Spend that energy on something that is actually a big deal.

People like to speak their opinion and mind, just like you do right here, even tho it more looks like hating.

If you dont like this thread then simply don't open it.

I can clearly hear a lot of differences between C-Bo and Sene, but I make it easier, their is a difference between a rap and hip hop song. poetic/conscious lyrics, subjects, sound and the fact that most hip hop artist consider their music as art are the main differences.

I have heard all off C-Bo's music and I can say he never made a hip hop song. And if you would ask C-Bo himself than I'm pretty sure he would tell you that he makes Gangsta Rap, not Hip Hop.
yeah i know Bo would say he dont do hip hop. but it dont matter what he thinks. each rapper categorizes his own self for marketing.
what makes Too Short-The Ghetto "not" hip hop and just "rap". is it the music? cus thats a conscious song. i nhave a feeling if he rapped The Ghetto over some old jazz samples, cats would say its "hip hop". it makes no sence. i know what your sayin. at 32 years old, i understand what your sayin. we're just way past that labeling hip hop shit.

yeah i never thought he would be able to top poltergeist. everything he had made after that was terrible up until grew crow. that album was dope, really surprised me. maybe even my favorite album from him now.

the eligh and amp live grew on me. i dont know what my expecations for amp live production are but he always seems to go a different way. maybe because i am stuck in the mind over matter/deep water slang amp live type production and come to expect that style. "running" "ms meteor" and of course "destination unknown" are sick though
