What does scrap mean to you

Not trying to start shit just want to know what everyone thinks it means. To me it means anyone repping south or 13(dirteen) and that opposes the norteno movement. It can be someone straight frum Mexico, a white boy with a flue rag acting like they were gangstas when they lived in LA, or a sureno from LA. Doesnt matter if they bang 13 if they are from the south and bang I consider them scraps.

It does not mean a diss to mojados. I call them paisas which to me is no dis it just means fellow country men.

No, I was saying for me personally, "scrap" on this board since this is really the only place I go online means Sureno. I've never heard anyone call a Sureno a scrap in person. I'm sure Nortenos call Surenos that all the time, I just haven't heard it..

I think you meant this for me since I brought up the net thing and I wasn't saying it's just an internet thing... I was saying for cholos down here that haven't been to prison to hear the word in person or that read it on the internet and make sense of it, that word has very little substance because no one uses it down here in that sense.

I know you hate hearing me speak on it but oh well...
To say there is no opposition here is ironic because everyone here gets banged on by everyone and it doesnt matter what gigantic set, SUR, CRIP or BLOOD you claim, there is no unity anyway. Even Maravilla ("tax free") bangs on itself and it's not anywhere near the size of the whole Sur or Norte respectively. The CHOLOS down here that represent the word SURENO in a serious manner have probably been to prison,(example: "AFF1L1ATED"). As their towns get closer and closer to the Norte, I have noticed that "Surenos" seem to care more about "claiming X3". Those that haven't done time just dont seem to give a fuck and have no reason to give a fuck and claim it basically because they live on the Southside of Cali and have pride and also because of the obvious tax.

They do it because it is predominantly a prison thing and they have been given orders from higher powers to take it to the streets and make it known that they are from the southland. It is also a way of pre-determining who will be placed where if they go to prison. Even though there is no unity on the streets, they know that once they are in prison they will have to ride along side some of their worst enemies on the outside.
