There are many people who do this actually.

They drive an expensive car and live in a dump, sitting on empty beer crates and eating dry bread 3 times a day.

But at least they feel they got status when they drive down the road in that expensive car.

Some people are just into cars though. How many of y'all drop $1000/mo on drinking and eating out? How many spend that on sneakers? If someone chooses to spend their extra dough on a car and thats their hobby then so be it...

I see this all the time ... If you need a nice car to pull hoes then something is wrong! ... haha ,
and just cuz you have a nice car doesn't mean your balling .. just means you can afford a car payment.. which is probably because you live with your parents or have a shit load or roommates .... Fuck all that getting shit on credit .. monthly car payment shit .. just step your cash game up...

I say if your throwing more than $30k-$50K on a down payment for a new whip (2012-2013) and that car is over 80K-100k than you should put that cash towards down payment on some property if you dont own one or some already. M-benz and BMW's kind of hold on to some value after some years but cars are not really good investments.

YOu can buy a 2001 S600 V12 benz for like 15K now and the MSRP was over $100,000K back in 2001.

There is nothing wrong with buying a 10k-20k Whip paid in full before buying a house. IMO no monthly payments.

And like WHISPERS AREOLAS BREH said "hoes will see ur car and start trickin lol"

Real talk breh

Look at it this way, get a 80k car when you're young because its when you will enjoy it the most. I love driving up and down the ca coast and listening to music, its even better when you're doing it in something nice. If you get a house you can say good bye to a lot of shit because you will have to buckle down like a muthafucka! a house is a 20-30 year responsibility where a car is a 5 year responsibility. Look how much people gave up enjoying things like cars, trips, and any other type of material shit due to investing in a home and they're now dealing with foreclosures and will probably never be able to enjoy that 80k car they always dreamed of owning due to fucked up credit. My point is live your life like you like to live it, don't do shit because it's what the people around you think is the "smart" thing to do. Also I'm not saying you should be buying a $80k car if you're still living at your parents house, but if you're happy to have a shitty apartment to yourself and own a $80k car then by all means do you. This life is not guaranteed to nobody, so if I die tomorrow I don't want to go out knowing I never got to enjoy riding the car of my dreams or visiting Rio De Janiero due to being locked down with a house I'm struggling to maintain. Of course The best situation would be to make a living for yourself where you can enjoy the $80K car and the house, but realistically most people would be lucky to enjoy one of those two things.
I agree 100% with the breh goon on this one. I mean it's not like i'm saying it's ok to drive a bentley and live at your moms house. Actually i really don't care what it is you drive if you live at your moms house but i think your first priority before buying a benz is living on your own, shitty apartment or not, you can do way more with your own place than you can living at your moms ie. bring bitches over and party with the goons, smoke, drink get loud, fuck hoes etc. I've lived that life.

But back to the house. We've always been told buying a house is the smartest investment, which it can be. But life is not promised to us and you are only young once. Enjoy these years because you have the rest of your life (maybe) to pay off a 30 year mortgage. Buying a house too young will limit your ability to travel, move for a more lucrative job, pay way more in maintenence than you would with an apartment. My first "real car" was a 2001 Camaro z28 which i bought when i was 18, which was like 10 years ago but i don't regret it at all, i had so much fun in that car, bitches loved it and i loved driving it. Who cares if i was living at home, i was 18! I moved out at 21 and still loved cars. Since then i've driven a monte carlo, a range rover, a cadillac and now i got a crazy white boy truck and still no house. I don't need a house. Nor do i want to be tied down to a house for the next 30 years. I also don't have any kids so they don't need a house and i don't need to manage my money the way someone with kids would.

So fuck it! If you want that benz and you can still afford to eat and not depend on anyone to pay your bills for you, then go for it! You'll remember these days forever!

Or you can buy a house and stay at home saving up for your mortgage while your friends go everywhere and go out all the time.

yep i know alot of mufuckas that bought a house 4 to 5 years ago and are assed out right now

i know no one who bout a 50k car and is singing the blues right now lol
aint no ones 50 thow car worth 50 thow tho. they're in the same boat. its just acceptable cus a car is suppose to depreciate in value, from the gate.

aside from this housing boom/pop, houses appreciate in value unless they build a housing project down the street.
