I dont get why some people think rice & ketchup is nasty... Shits pretty good. Personally I use rice as a side-dish for damn near anything. Right now Id kill for a plate of rice, red beans & chicken... Just made some General Tso's last night and ate it with rice. Good stuff.

Just need the sauce packet (under a buck), soy sauce, oil, water, and sugar....mix it with a pound of Chicken and you're set.

Shit I eat rice with everything. Gotta have me some kaabab with some rice, pour a lil saffron on the rice with butter, oh boy. I guarentee my pops makes the best tastin rice ever, ya'll gotta try some Persian food, good eatin. I grew up with Mexicans, and there ain't many Middle Easterners round here. So every thinks the food is nasty this and that. Every foo I ever took to my house to try it, always wanna come back. They get banned though for talkin that shit, so I let them get a lil taste to prove em wrong then they hooked.
