I know a lot of Southern Cali niggaz are in love with Quik. My uncle who lives up here in Sac is from LA & he think Quik is the greatest rapper ever concieved. When I moved to LA in the mid 90's people were going crazy over Quik. He was a mega star like Ice Cube when lived down there. I was big MC Eiht fan @ that time(We Come Strapped had just came out) & it seemed like most people I ran into wasn't really fucking with Eiht. LOL! It was hella weird to me. I just didn't get it.

Never felt a lot of his beats?!.....A lot of west coast artists (among other regions) were influenced by Quik (production wise). huh?!

Like who. No artist I've ever bumped had a DJ Quik feel to there music. U guys are speaking from a S.Cal view. Up north Quik is not heavy in peoples CD players & MP3's. Not saying I bump everything these cats bump but Quiks style didn't influence any of the cats I'm really into.

Homie didn't nobody mean it like that & the only person that took it like that was ur cornhusker ass. Ol boy said that he didn't know anyone that didn't like Quik or something along them lines & I was just pointing out that I happen to be someone who don't feel his music & I'm a die hard rap fan & hip hop collector. If I'm missing out then buy me all of Quiks material & mail it to me. GTFOH!

Homie I got my own taste & I heard ur music on ur Myspace & ur music is busted.

Like I said before u guys are speaking from a southern Cali perspective. Quik shit don't really go up here where I'm @. It did around 1991-1993 or some shit but he faded out quick in Northern Cali.
