i make 9.50 a hour i work at a 5 star country club...i graduate culinary school and thats what the fucken idiot started me out at....ive been there for months.....im lead line cook.....the only good thing is i work 60-to 75 hours a week......are sous chef only make 14 a hour on salary and they work 90 hours a week..then my executive chef is pullin in somewhere probably over 150,000 a year easy....
well ya know, i get mad at times at my job, and i wish some shit would change..but i really can't say shit because i don't have a B.A.
to all you kids out there stay in school and get a degree and try to get a decent job out there.
high school graduates average $14 an hour
college graduates average $28 an hour
to x-loc: put in work mayne, then one day you will be the mufucka callin the shots. my pops had a friend in high school who was a waiter at a seafood restaraunt out here. now almost 30 years later, he runs the bitch. so just be patient and put in work.

i used to have 2 jobs.. 1 @ maxtor $12/hr plus 5% on top of whatever i made that check... it was 12 hour shift 3days one week 4 days the next.. i only worked 15 days a month.. but gettin' OT everyday was the shit.. and then i got this in home support job $10/hr.. but i got layed off maxtor.. they gave me 5 g's and i spent every dime on weed. HA.
my duties are basically everything.....i work from 10-10 6 days a week......i work my ass off...we do banquets everyday. so i do everything....like today we had a wedding of 400 people....i had to prep out for that and run my stations still..its bullshit all the chef does is sit back and drink wine all day.....i mean he does the paperwork of course but if the line gets busy he will jump on it......its bullshit to

ya gotta consider where some folks live too....im in the valley so when i work for FORD and make 20 an hour thas HELLA BALLIN!!!! lol....my rent is only 550 a month for a two bdrm and i split that wit my brother so i only spend 275 for rent.......and even makin 700 every two weeks for unemployment is still good enough for me to survive and i aint gotta do shit......bay area is wayyyyy higher rent so 20 an hour or 700 a week out there wouldnt be as big a deal.....
