It has happen plenty of times during the past 2 or 3 seasons, just not in the playoffs! Spurs can't contain big leads especially early in the games thats why I don't like when they're a head by 15 or more points towards the end 3rd quarters..... Its coo with 3 or 4 minutes in the final quarter! They just seem to get away from slashing to the rim and begin settling for too many 18 foot jump shots or 3 pointers. They seem to relax and get out of the rhythm of attacking the basket! The Lakers just played outstanding ball in the last 2 quarters while my Spurs just ran out of gas then losing the gas tank in the fourth.... Lakers grinded it out and Kobe was a monster pretty much abusing Manu and Bowen on the offensive end in the final quarters. They made their adjustments while we choked, SIMPLE AS THAT! Only scoring fuckin 13 points in the final quarter when YOU'RE the defending champions is very disappointing in my book when leading by 20, Sleeping in a jet or NOT, there is no excuse...... Hopefully we could bounce back in game 2!

I give credit where its due! Great come from behind win so enjoy it, you guys grinded it out and kept fighting on both sides of the court in the final half while we fell apart..... Now the Spurs need to gear up for the next game, point blank!

Naw I ain't gonna complain cuz we came flat out and couldn't even buy a bucket in that horrible last quarter....... Fouls were called pretty evenly for both squads and you guys stepped it up when it mattered. A loss is a loss but we lost ugly by giving up a double digit lead. Ginobili was off shooting 3 for 10 and Parker didn't seem to want to drive it in to the damn rack in the 4th! I guess the 20 point lead got to their heads and put it on cruise control instead of having better shot selection and attacking..... Fuck it, We still got more games to go so hopefully we could rebound 4rm this loss and get the next game!

i'm happy to see we got 1 in da bag...3 more to go...kobe was on sum bullshit in the 1st half but more than made up for it...odom gotta learn how to fuckin finish...it's gonna take 3 games better than the one the lakers played tonight tho....i really think fatigue fucked w/ da spurs towards the end of the game...great play from the bench...let's get gm. 2 & try & steal one in san antonio

Kobe crushed their hearts with this one, i dont think they can recover.
