dont think kobe and pau can hold it down enough for the lake show. spurs showing their grit, but they will have to win on the road. we will see but im sayin spurs in 6. if they take one of the first in LA, which i think they will, then the spurs are going to take this series in 6. like a lot of people have been saying, until the spurs get beat in a series, they are the best team in the NBA

sasha or ariza sticks manu.

timmy's gonna have it easy with Pau if he can get it deep in the paint, tough if he has to contend with Odom or Gasol's length outside of 10 feet.

fish and farmar have their work cut out for 'em.

the mamba will own anyone he d's up on.

were in for a good series, folks.

LOL @ enserio; Sasha seems like he'd probably love to ''stick'' Manu.

Parker is going to hurt Fisher on offense, but Fisher can score on him, too.

Kobe will dominate Bowen or anyone else on him. LOL!

Duncan...will he wake up for this series? He's been good, no doubt...but he's great. He needs to step it up for them to win.

Gasol...if he can keep playing consistantly, the Spurs may have a problem.

That fucking Manu is awesome, as much as I hate him.

Deciding factor: Lamar Odom. If he can put up the same numbers he has been...he could be the difference, IMO.

sasha's brand of defense is irritating though. In these playoffs, I've seen him get at least 3 calls for him when folks have thrown him to the ground in frustration.

Now, he also gets calls against him, but the point is - dude's defense is downright irritating.

I got the Lakers in 7 in another dramatic series. Glad to hear Ariza is back too, he's a solid defender.

I agree. I love his play on the offensive end but I hate it when people flop, even when their on my team. Of course in critical situations I can't say I didn't breath a sigh of relief when he got us the ball with his tactics, but I would rather do without it entirely.

it may be irritating, but in no way would i say that he could "shut down" anyone, and kobe is really their only other defender, odom is half decent. pau is soft on d. tony parker will be able to get to the basket whenever he wants, against fisher or farmar. which is going to open up everything. i dont think the lakers have anyone that can stop tim duncan, so if they throw double teams at him, hes seen that all throughout the playoffs and he has found ways to get shit done, whether for himself or for his teammates

To you it's hilarious because you're underestimating Fisher! Fisher is a pretty good defender and he is not "slow". Fisher's defense on Deron Williams helped the Lakers take out the Jazz in 6 games.

Im underestimating Fisher's D? Get the fuck out homie...I watched his piss poor D for 2 straight years when he was on the W's. Fisher isn't a good defender at all...Deron Williams is nothing like Parker. Williams is known for his size and strength at pg, Parker has the speed and quickness that Fisher cant keep up with.

I am not taking anything away from Parker because he's one of the quickest points guards in the NBA if not, the quickest. But to say Fisher is a poor defender is crazy. We'll see what happens tonight...

Fisher should be able to slow down Parker some... he played pretty good defense against Deron Williams.
Yeah but Fish played with D. Williams last year in Utah, so he knows what his tendencies are and knows the strengths and weaknesses in his game!

You're right... he did match up with him when they practiced. Fish has played against Tony Parker in the playoffs as well. Fish ain't going out though, I think he'll D up against Parker pretty good. He knows he can't let Parker continue to get to the hoop.
