I didn't like how we totally abandoned the run game though...mix it up a little bit! 9 carries from Frank Gore is just dumb, IMO. Especially since he's been shredding up the Hawks for the past few years consistently.

We never committed to the run in the first place. Sure, Smith had a great game, but we strayed away from the formula that has worked against the Hawks for quite some time now.


The only time I even saw that power run was when we were backed up damn near into our own end zone...
