I live freely that I don't need answers...the world is perfect the way it has been presented to me...anyway that I percieve the world, and the actions within, is my own perception. The world is the world...life is empty and meaningless, and it is meaningless that life is empty and meaningless...that is my mantra, and that is what gives me the freedom to define every moment of my life, and is why I don't decide on life, but rather I choose life. I don't live life because I was born, I live life because I choose to.
Look man, my life is great...if you don't want to pay attention when game is being laced, that's cool. Just remeber this...no one has come back from death, no one has told us what it is, the great unknown awaits...until then, I am the only one I have to answer to on Earth, and until then I will be the only one making choices for me.
Look mayne...I don't have these questions. I could give a fuck less why anyone is here...whats more I don't question what mine or anyone elses "purpose" is. Why waste my time? All of these "deep" questions are simple to me...you want to know "why" we are here...it's a simple answer...BECAUSE WE ARE. That's it...everything else is opinion/story/conversatin/fable/perception. These are questions that can only be answered by each individual, and I just don't care to bother myself with these questions.
That is an idea comming from a person who obviously "minds somebody," I take care of me, and everything comes up roses...the second I start questioning that, my integrity is out, I have no responsability to myself, my family, my friends, and I don't have any power over my life if I don't see myself as my own ruler.

Some people believe in destiny, if destiny plays a role then the human race (no other species) was destined to be the end of earth itself, exploiting it's every resource and even other humans to continue to try to grow and survive. We (as a species) may be an instrument in a destroy/renewal cycle. Much like a forest fire caused by lightning destroys an overpopulated forest, but when plants and treelife begin regrowing the forest is much more healthier than before the fire.
Some people believe only science can provide answers, Biology suggests that we, along with every other species/bacteria/cell has one main purpose and that purpose is to pass on genes to offspring to help in the development and growth of our species.... pretty much meaning our main purpose is to reproduce.

LOL...nice take. I think there is a happy medium in there somewhere. I am steeped in the scientific notion, but I also believe in some form of spirituality. That doesn't necessarily mean a higher being...I think the "higher being" is closer to being each one of us than we care to think...we are all gods in my eyes, as corny as that may sound, it's how I feel. We invented all these ideas through language: monotheism, scientific expression, mathematics, the bible...all invented by people...Helen Keller, the blind/deaf/mute scientist who learned how to communicate, said that nothing existed for her in her "universe" until she gained the knowledge of language...ie. the chair in the room didn't even exist until the word "chair" could be associated with it...that's a very elementary description but it speaks to the power of language, and how it shapes our thinking.

So I think? For someone who says that everyone has questions, you sure sound like you have all the answers. This world is confusing to who? Not to me, I don't ponder my existence, because what is to ponder? I'm here, and that's all I need to know. You think that because I don't question life I haven't seen shit...OK...I wouldn't even debate that, cause compared to my father, I haven't.
In terms of the world being perfect...it is perfectly what it is...the world. It can't be any other way than perfect...anything else is your perception of "a perfect world." And as far as who presented it to me, that was my parents, and then again by everyone that I have met along the way...even you are presenting the world to me right now.
Truth? What is truth? Truth is just another perception...something that is true for you may not be true for the next man...that should be obvious with our back and forth in this thread...a known truth for an American may not be so for an Iraqi, ya dig?
To me life is not intricate...it is very simple...the more you want to think and ponder it, of corse the more mind boggling it will get (Confusious said that if you open your mind too far, everything will fall out). Why do that? Life is what it is...if you got a flat tire and want to blame it on god, fine, but that is in your head...you could also say it was fate, or allah, or whatever you want to believe...or you could say it was just a flat tire. Oh and life is duplicated by man everyday with sex, and child birth.
When you decide on something, you make that decision based on a reason...when you choose something, you weigh out the reasons, and after consideration, you make your choice...it is a distinction that seems minute, but has been very big for me in my life. Deciding, is like leaving your mind up to the circumstances, while choosing allows you to own your choice...even if there is only one choice, you get to own it, and it is yours to make, nothing is "left up to the gods."
In terms of the "You were born, thus you live," not true. I know plenty of people who are clinically alive, ie. they have a pulse, and are breathing, but they are, for all intents and purposes, dead. "You aint gotta be in jail if your doing time," you don't have to be dead to not be living, that is why you must choose life, and live it on your terms, and not as it is given to you...life is only a bitch if you let it be that...you have all the control, if you want it...or you can just sit back, and hope that fate delt you a good hand...I'd rather not.
