back in like 1997 i used to think wc was SCARY! he looked and sounded like he's killed thousands of people! but around 2006 i started listening to his older stuff and its not really that scary at all.

now dont get me wrong, wc is one of my favorite rappers, and im not saying he's fake or anything, i just think the contrast between his old stuff and his new stuff is funny...

edit: too many people were tripping, so i changed some words here and there, the main reason i posted this is because after hearing his old stuff im not terrified of meeting him anymore, when i was a kid i used to think that shit he said on westside connection was real, he talked about "killing everybody standing outside", "stabbing female rappers in the tits and back", and "raping the rapper q-tip with a cucumber and leaving him in a trashcan". needless to say, this guy was not someone i would want to cross paths with. but after hearing his old stuff, i think he'd be a cool dude.

How old were you in '97...like 5 or 7 ???
i was 12, lol

also that was back when people had to buy cd's, so the only albums i knew him from was westside connections "bow down" and "the shadiest one". no joke, i used to think the verse on "the gangsta, the killa, and the dope dealer" was the real way he lived his life! i was terrified

Go back a lil further youngsta. His first group was called Low Profile with him and DJ Alladin this album is a must have...I do not even think he cursed on the album, but come on the song "Paid dues" is a classic by itself..

oh yeah, i know, it was more like regular-person gangster-affiliated stuff though, when i was a kid all i heard from him was about killing people and stuff, so really im not trying to say he's fake, i guess the point of my post is to say he's not as terrifying as i thought he was hahaha

i was speakin about this with one of my homies the other day...i dont think anyone has went at WC on record...dude seems respected by all
probably just terrified of him! if i saw a janky motherfucker like that with 3 braids in his beard, weighing around 300 pounds, c-walking towards me while talking about killing everyone standing outside, i would get the fuck out of the way.

but seriously, he's got nothing he needs to prove really, he was hella tight before he was super-gangster and he's hella tight now. im guessing the reason he switched styles up was just to sell a few more records or to fit in better with people he's associated with (ice cube, mack 10, cj mac, king-t, ect)
